Associated Press writer Jesse Washington has investigated the March 20 incident in Washington, D.C. at which members of the Tea Party supposedly hurled the N-word at black Congressmen. Well, no recording of that word being used could be found but that hasn't stopped Washington from blaming the Tea Partiers...for posting the "wrong" video of that incident on YouTube. I kid you not:
Three Democratic congressmen — all black — say they heard racial slurs as they walked through thousands of angry protesters outside the U.S. Capitol. A white lawmaker says he heard the epithets too. Conservative activists say the lawmakers are lying.
What does the video show? Not much. Indeed, new interviews show that a much-viewed YouTube recording cited as evidence by conservatives was actually shot well after the time in question.
...A reconstruction of the events shows that the conservative challenges largely sprang from a mislabeled video that was shot later in the day.

If our congressional districts weren’t gerrymandered so as to create safe districts for selected, privileged groups, we wouldn’t be having half the trouble we’ve been experiencing with the congress lately.
The childishness and ridiculousness of the media spin of the tea parties would be laughable if the stakes weren’t so high.

Obama and his idiots got one big, temporary win on health care, but at the cost of cementing their reputation as leftists who can’t govern for another generation.

Yep, the Congressional Progressive Caucus webpage on the house.gov website has recently been removed and all trace of it has been removed from the WayBack Machine. They are like a bunch of cockroaches exposed to the light, scurring for cover. It is time to keep the pressure on them.

Print up information sheets from their website and forum to circulate to members of the media at any of your tea party events.
When you see an agitator trying to smear the movement with deliberately misspelled signs, violent or racist rhetoric, point out to the media that these Left Wing Extremists are on the record that this is how they will discredit the movement. Not by debate but by false smear.

On the Chris Plante (WMAL) show today, there was a caller, a young man who sounded quite mature for his age. He said that he forms up a small film crew that attempts to document media attendance at our protests from the first arrival of the news trucks. He’s looking for bias in how and where interviews are conducted.
For example, he said it’s common for the media to interview at the fringes of the event, with a camera angle that gives the impression of poor attendance. He aims to counteract this bias by filming their interview from an angle that includes the main body of the protest. He also said he’s audio recording, looking for disparaging remarks by the media people.
I have no way of verifying his claims, but I applaud the idea of putting video and audio scrutiny on our enemies.
