One for the list.
Oh, so the MSM was right about the tea party movement leading to violence... oh, wait.
thanks for posting this. And to think I was going to N’Awlins for a 3 day weekend!
*ping*
You will not hear about this EXCEPT on the Internet and maybe Conservative talk Radio.
Thanks for letting us know.
They were hurt badly. This is no joke.
Anyone seen the comments to the Times-Picayune article that was posted here? Apparently, some stupid ass denizens of New Orleans think it’s real funny that these two got beaten up - one with a broken leg.
New Orleans appears to be a criminal dump, and the people of this country have done enough to “rebuild” it. New Orleans can rebuild itself, just like every city has after a natural disaster.
I do, however, feel sorry for citizens of New Orleans who have to put up with this abysmal crap.
Union thugs no doubt.
It is certainly well within the realm of possibility, given the left’s noted PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome), but “Lets get them, they have Palin pins on” ? Really?
I dunno, I’s getting that same uncertain feeling I did following the famous “B Girl” incident in 2008.
Michelle Malkin has also reported on it just now - she also includes a cautionary note just to make sure this is in fact a politically motivated beating and she does write about the possibility that the Palin pins could have been true but at this time it is not fact.

The more this is tweeted, blogged about, etc. we can get some answers and maybe somebody from the despicable MSM will investigate!
Here is the statement from the Governor’s Office, via Press Secretary Kyle Plotkin. He just now returned my email asking about The Hayride story. It is the same statement from yesterday.
Here was my email to him:
Kyle,
This story is going viral on the web as we speak. Do you have any information on this?
The Brennan’s Beatdown: Piecing Together A Story (Updated, 9:50 a.m.)
His reply:
“Friday night, the Governor’s campaign fundraiser, Allee Bautsch, and her boyfriend were involved in an altercation in the French Quarter with a group of people.
While there were protestors around at that time, we are not aware of any evidence that the individuals involved in the altercation were protestors.
Allee’s leg was badly broken in the incident, she has had surgery, and she is facing a recovery time of two to three months. Her boyfriend had a concussion, and also a fractured nose and jaw. They are both expected to fully recover.
NOPD is investigating the incident and we are refraining from further comment to allow them to fully investigate and ensure justice is done. Our prayers are with Allee. She is a strong person and we are sure she will make a speedy recovery.”
Dare we say: “hate crime”?!
OMG. This is so not the America I grew up in.
At least we have those public statements of outrage from the Congressional Black Caucus.../massive sarc
Thugocracy bump! ;-(
