Washington, D.C., April 13, 2010. Army doctor Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin yesterday met with his brigade commander, Col. Gordon R. Roberts, who proceeded to read LTC Lakin his Miranda rights, and who informed LTC Lakin he had the “right to remain silent” because LTC Lakin is about to be charged with serious crimes. Col. Roberts was at age 19 awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, the only recipient of the nation’s highest honor currently on active duty in the Army.

LTC Lakin had previously been ordered in writing to report yesterday to Ft. Campbell, KY and then on to deploy for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. Lakin refused to obey these orders and instead came to work yesterday morning at the Pentagon. Late yesterday afternoon he was confronted by his brigade commander.

Before the meeting was over, LTC Lakin’s Pentagon Access Pass had been revoked, and his laptop computer was set to be confiscated.

The message to LTC Lakin is clear; through official channels, he was informed yesterday that he will shortly be court-martialled for crimes (specifically, missing movement and conduct unbecoming an officer) that for others has led to lengthy imprisonment at hard labor.

Lakin has announced in a YouTube video that has now been viewed more than 110,000 times that he considers it his duty to refuse to obey orders that would be illegal if President Obama is ineligible to hold office.

Meanwhile, cries mount for proof of that eligibility, but nothing has been forthcoming. The Obama campaign at one point released a copy of computer-generated abstract of information purportedly in Hawaii's records system, but the source of this information is unclear and need not have been a birth certificate issued contemporaneously and signed by the doctor who attended the birth. Even the document released was only a copy, and the version printed in the Los Angeles Times on June 16, 2008 is on a form only in use since late 2001. Even as it is, the document contains a warning that it is merely “prima facie”--threshold, rebuttable and thus inconclusive --evidence of birth, and the copy the Times printed mysteriously has the certificate number blacked out, thereby rendering the document unusable according to language on the bottom.

Given the seriousness of the offenses with which LTC Lakin is about to be charged, the American Patriot Foundation today renewed its plea for donations to its legal defense fund for LTC Lakin. Details are available at APF's website, www.safeguardourconstitution.com

So? Most errors in news stories are discovered by someone outside the news organization.

Whether they are or aren't, Obama was evidently fine with the story until it was caught by his critics who noticed the inconsistency with his newer story. Just like other stories that have been printed over the years were never corrected until it turned out these were incosistent with the current Obama myth.

If the UPI internal fackcheckers had caught it, it wouldn't have been printed. It got printed, so obviously their factcheckers missed it.

Sorry captain oblivious, but the factcheckers probably found it was consistent with what they were told was true. Obama has changed his story and they're simply left taking the blame and trying to cover for his factual inconsistency or outright lies.

Obama posted photographs of a certified copy of his COLB on the internet, and Hawaiian officials have verified that their records show he was born in Hawaii.

No, he posted scans of a redacted and photoshopped, but alleged COLB. Hawaiian official have never verified this document to be genuine or accurate. In fact, they have told us the opposite, by admitting the COLB is not sufficient to verify a claim of birth in Hawaii.

That's more than any other sitting president has done to prove he was born in the USA.

No president up until Obama has had as many eligibility problems as Obama. If the American people have questions, it's his cross to bear.

First of all, we only know for sure he had one. The notion that Seotero adopted him is pure birther speculation.

No, it's based on the fact that he is listed as Barry Soetoro in a school record and listed as a child (not a stepchild) in the Soetoro divorce decree. There's no speculation involved at all.

Second of all, why does that necessitate greater disclosure?

Because each circumstance has different impacts on Obama's alleged citizenship. The citizenship of the child naturally follows the citizenship of the father.

He attended Occidental in 1989-1990(then 28-29 years old), then transferred to Columbia in 1991 (at around 30 years old). It was not until the transfer to Columbia, that he changed his name from Barry Soetoro, to Barak Obama (Illegally). This means that well into adulthood, he kept the name Barry Soetoro, which also leads to the conclusion, since he did not get a US passport until he was a Jr Senator from Illinois, that he used an existing one, and I surmise, from Indonesia, which falls in line with being a foreign exchange student, traveling on a student visa from Indonesia (which kept is citizenship in tact) while in the states and attending Occidental, and his trip to Pakistan, and Indonesia to visit his mother and sister Maya.

That seems a trap rsxid. I agree. Our framers and dozens of jurists and legislators, including all U.S. senators in 2008, are absolutely clear about presidential eligibility. The senators stressed the “citizen parents” criterion - even Obama while he was telling us HE was born a subject of the British Commonwealth. Obama's handlers knew that less than one percent of citizens had ever heard of the concept of natural born citizenship. Now we have, and Lakin needs to stick to facts which don't need proving.

Those covering for Obama are professional propagandists. Newt Gingrich commented that few realize how deeply and thoroughly the political far left has penetrated our government. From Obama’s “cleaner” Brennen, a senior division director at CIA, we and Lakin should gather that our best strategy is not to depend upon any information reported by the media. They control the media, even Fox. Except for a few stocks, the sectors which are still buffered by design, the private sector is failing. They report that GM is paying back its TARP bailout. But in the fine print, GM sales climbed to 4.6 billion - and it lost 6.3 billion. It is not insignificant that NewsCorp owns the Wall Street Journal, and NewsCorp’s owners include Walid bin Talaal - a major owner, possibly the largest, but if not, certainly the most vocal about the influence he welds.

Barack told us time-after-time that he was born a British subject. Sadly, the pundits who make a generous living repeating the words of our framers, unless they pertain to issues unpopular with their FCC license holders, have decided that we don't care about Article II Section 1 this year. We did in 2008 in Senate Res. 511, but we don't now - so don't talk about it! As Glen Beck said, advice he hasn't the courage or intelligence (probably the former) to take, "Question everything" and tell the truth. Lakin will discover who still respects the Constitution. We need to follow the legal activities closely because the media will bury it if they can. That may explain the sudden flurry of Kenyan activity - just watch the yellow handkerchief in my left hand... Colonel Lakin should require that his legal council read the Mario Apuzzo case. Apuzzo has compiled a case based upon legal history and the Constitution, and wisely put all his arguments in the public view. The Cmdr. Kerchner/Apuzzo case is the foundation for the Lakin case - or should be. The military courts may ignore him but the people are becoming aware of the war on our Constitution, and will bring traitors to account. Dr. Lakin's concerns are valid and the majority of Americans appreciate that he has bet a noble career to defend and protect the Constitution, just as he and every military officer has sworn to do. Compare the many lives has Dr. Lakin has saved with the enormous number Barack Obama has destroyed and decide what measures we need to preserve our liberties for our children.

Name changed in 1981 (illegally) at 21 years old.
He kept the name Barry Soetoro and his passport to his 21st birthday. And Indonesian law allows foreign travel for education to continue citizenship past the 5 year mark.
Coincidentally, Obama travelled back to Indonesia to visit his Mother and Sister, which reaffirmed his citizenship, prior to his visit to Pakistan with a valid passport (Presumably Indonesian)

To the few on this list who aren't Obama trolls, don't waste your breath or your fingers. I responded to a non-troll who “pinged” (still not sure how that works) and then looked at the thread - over 1000 comments - with people taking about their military records and repeating third hand gossip. This is troll’s meat and potatoes. But for non-trolls, Barack Obama, the name of the man occupying the oval office, told us, many times, that he was born a British Subject. That should be sufficient, and would have been a few decades ago, to moot any act associated with him. He is not constitutionally eligible to be president. That is the only issue about which we are certain, and the only proof necessary to require judicial action.

Because Obama has directly challenged the Constitution, knowing very well that most on the left don't respect “original intent”, the phrase describing James Madison's warning that if the Constitution is not interpreted in the legal and linguistic framework of its framers, it is meaningless, Obama or his handlers knew that a battle must come. If they win, the Constitution is what they want it to mean and we have lost freedom of individuals to freedom of "the people," a euphemism for Marxism. If the court confirms the oft-confirmed definition “born in the country of citizen parents” Obama is out and we have lots of cleaning up to do.

Let the trolls keep each other busy. Spend your effort reading Mario Apuzzo’s essays or the U. of Conn undeadrevolution.wordpress.com or biographies of Marshall or Hamilton or Washington. We need the clarity of the ideas of our founders and framers to defeat the “Change” from a republic to a socialist autocracy being executed by our enemies.
