[history]
The numbers are small. A modern record, to be sure, and an embarrassment to some. But nothing to be alarmed about. Better to just curse their greed, slap an exit tax on their assets, and move on. There are plenty more where they came from.

1) If they wanted their landscaping done or house cleaned, they already know some Spanish,
2) Most of our country is already subject to some sort of natural disaster. It’s the man-made ones that are a problem.
3) If they are rich, they can afford gated communities, private security and the appropriate bribes to the local cops.

“1) They’ll have to learn Spanish.
2) They have to live under the threat of above 7.2 earhtquakes on the Richter scale.
3) Not sure how safe the country is in terms of crime compared to here.”
Might as well live in California!;)

The question is WHERE TO ? The country they choose for their citizenship isn't necessarily the same as the one they choose to live in. Once they get past the US economic Berlin Wall, their options are a bit more open.

Or else?
You become a criminal in the eyes of the US federal government. Keep in mind that most countries we would consider living in share bank data with the US government.
The concept that you can pick up your money and move it without leaving a trail is outdated. Heck, even the Swiss banks are caving to the feds.
Once they find your money, and you, you are subject to confiscatory penalties and jail time. Assuming you are dealing with banks/governments that have agreements with the US, you don't get to write a check. They can freeze your money and make you come to them.

What the rich CEASE INVESTING IN THE UNITED STATES? The Country will collapse. The rich, according to King Obama standards, are the industry that hires. Already much of what we purchase is imported and if we increase taxes on these import, they will just reduce imports or quit. Hardships are ahead.

Or else nothing if you stay overseas. Come back to the US to visit your relatives and they can arrest you for tax evasion.

Gaffer: “I am a fool for paying $50K federal income tax this year.”
Well, you have my heartfelt thanks for it. Seriously. There are enumerated federal powers like national defense that are truly important, and you are paying a much greater share than most Americans. Again, thank you. BTW, my sincere thanks is far more than you’ll ever receive from ANY leftist!
