Racist comments, including a slur about Hispanics, posted on the Twitter page of the Springboro Tea Party were particularly hurtful to Alana Turner.
Illegals everywhere today! So many spics makes me feel like a speck. Grrr. Wheres my gun!? said the March 21 posting on the site managed by the groups founder, Sonny Thomas.

So true - I was raised in CA for most of my childhood and have, in the last few years, written CA off politically - until Prop 8 passed! Then it was whao! If Prop 8 can pass with blacks and hispanics voting overwhelmingly for it, bingo! Issues the pubs can use in the future - but NOOOO - the stupid party thinks they will stay in the cocktail party circuit if they go mush on social issues...cripes! So frustrating..all the best to you.
It is one-way crap. Some words are offensive, but the truth is EVERYONE has some prejudice towards something (not necessarily race- it could be towards fat people, smokers, “right wing extremists”, Christians, Jews, gays, druggies, union jerks, etc.) It’s human nature.
“Gringo” and “honkey” are offensive too, but I dont see Caucasians getting all bent out of shape when someone says it. I guess we have thicker skins (pun intended).
I guess that’s part of being a “typical white” person.
Libtards (I am prejudiced against them!) need to grow up.
I’ve been called “kike” (by some fascistic white kid who looked like Ernst Rohm at my Catholic school) even though I am not Jewish, and I was called a “batty boy” by a group of young west indians even though I am not gay. I just shrugged it off as I had better things to do.
Gringo and honkey just make me laugh. They’re even funnier than “cracker” and “haole.”
I don’t know. This sounds like bad news for the Democrat Party. Thousands of illegals are supporting the TEA Party movement! :)
The American left and globalists are the biggest supporters of ethnic cleansing. The Mexican elite are flushing their country of as many Amerindians as they can in the name of (American) immigration rights. They do this by putting the Mexican economy under statist control making homegrown entrepreneurship a nightmare. The privileged Castilian Spanish upper class get to sit on their inherited wealth and get America to fund their poor.
I had to look up “haole”, as i wasn’t even familiar with it.
:-)
Sometimes I really think it’s better to just get these words out in the open to remove the shock value.
George Carlin’s “DRUGS’ skit, and Richard Pryor calling the SNL guy “honkey” come to mind.
And also, keep in mind that minorities use the *N* word quite frequently, but they are a protected class.
I find it to be inherently discriminatory to allow some people to say a particular word without penalty, but not others.
3 reasons why the sign was probably written by a racist Democrat.
1. The sign’s written in English.
2. “We can’t take care of our own”. Only a Democrat would “take care” of anybody, including “our own”.
3. It’s standing paralell to the illegals, not in front of them.
In this case, it is being handled by putting him on the Republican Party central commmittee.
Where is Springboro?
They probably posted it.
Where was this statement made from? Does anyone here know?
The tea party has a founder? And it’s someone we’ve never heard of before?
The “Tea Party” is a very loose movement, and does not have any real control over who wants to establish a “local tea party”.
This has led to a lot of problems, including having a “tea party” candidate in Nevada who isn’t part of the Tea Party, and is running to split the vote to help Reid.
Yep, sometimes being too casual about organization has a down side.
What are you, a slow learner?
Stuck on stupid?
IT doesn't have to be racist or offensive....
You just need to claim it is. And "deeply hurtful."
Personally, I am devastated by the term "cracker"
*sniff*
For conservatives, the correct action is:
First, verify the claim of racism is true.
Second, if true, denounce it. Make it clear that racism in any form is unacceptable and there are no excuses that can be made for it.
Um...no...?
