McCain: Inadequate border security a result of 2008 election loss to Obama (he praises Napolitano)

The Tucson paper's editorial board noted that he represents a border state affected by Washington's inaction.

"Yes. Yes. I do. But so does the senator from New Mexico and the senators from California and all the border states all along. But it seems to me that the proposal should come, it's the obligation of the president of the United States to come forward with what he thinks is a proposal and then maybe we can all work together and get it resolved," he said.

"So what have I done?" he added. "Not enough."

Still, McCain said he expects to hold hearings on border security when the Senate reconvenes next week.

"We hopefully will get some better indication what the administration is going to do or not to or whatever their plans are," he said. "I do know that Janet Napolitano takes [the recent death of an Arizona rancher] very seriously, she is very concerned about it. They did say they were going to have like a mini surge of sending customs and border people down here. So she is not oblivious to the impact of this murder. And we have a very good relationship. Talk about partisanship, we have an excellent relationship. And I think she is doing a good job."

McCAIN: "Napolitano and I have a very good relationship. Talk about partisanship, we have an excellent relationship. She takes [the recent death of an Arizona rancher] very seriously, she is very concerned about it. And I think she is doing a good job."

How does McCain explain the public financing of the Arizona-Mexico Commission, and the Border Infrastructure Project, implemented in collaboration with federal, state and local government agencies........ OUR tax dollars?

FROM THE ARIZONA-MEXICO COMMISSION WEB SITE http://www.azmc.org/

Welcome to the Arizona-Mexico Commission (AMC) online news and information resource. The Arizona-Mexico Commission is Arizona's premiere cross-border organization.

We are a mission-driven non-profit organization chaired by Arizona's (then) Governor, Janet Napolitano. Our mission is to improve the economic well being and quality of life for residents of Arizona by promoting a strong, cooperative relationship with Mexico and Latin America through advocacy, trade, networking and information.

Looking for funding?

Look no further and check out AMC-ASU’s new funding database: Unlocking the gates to grant sponsorship in Arizona!

Visitwww.azgates.org to find funding and grant application resources online. The single information source on Arizona's Border Infrastructure Projects!

Visit www.azbip.org to find streamlined information on infrastructure projects in Arizona's border communities.

LINK State of Arizona Border Infrastructure Project http://www.bip.arizona.edu/

"The Border Infrastructure Project database is the single source of information on Arizona’s border infrastructure projects. It tracks each project’s progress along its approval, programming and funding paths and provides the information in a concise and timely way. I hope this is a valuable tool for you and that you will use it often." - (then) Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano

The University of Arizona Office of Economic and Policy Analysis developed the Border Infrastructure Project concept in partnership with the Arizona-Mexico Commission. It is being implemented in collaboration with federal, state and local government agencies. Border communities and stakeholders will be engaged in this project through outreach efforts.

INCOMPETANO'S VERY DISTURBING GOVT MINDSET Incompetano pulled out all the stops to go after American "extremists" few months back but seems "unable" to go after illegals, bombers and terrorists.

Keep in mind, Americans look at illegals, and bombers with fear and trepidation, and demand justice. Ohaha, Incompetano, Holder, Emanuel, Axelrod, Soros and that bunch, look at this with kindness and understanding, b/c it involves "getting" evil right-wing Americans.

No more proof is needed than Obama/Incompetano's profiling Americans as “rightwing extremists.”

On April 7, 2009, their hatred of Americans spewed full force as DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis sent out a nationwide alert to US L/E to act against "evil" conservatives. DHS identified “rightwing extremists” as a "danger" and defined “rightwing extremists” in a footnote, as follows.

INCOMPETANO ORDERS L/E TO SUPPRESS AND DESTROY AMERICANS. EXCERPT DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis to L/E: "Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

DHS later said that the report was not an attempt to squash First Amendment Rights for conservatives----only "hate groups"---- but, there was NO attempt to exempt anyone from these broad generalizations. Incompetano's report paints EVERY ASPECT OF AMERICAN CONSERVATISM as "suspect."

This is indicative of a very disturbing government mindset. Incompetano's documented hatred of Americans, and the orders to L/E to surveil and supress Americans......contrasts sharply with the kid glove handling of illegal savages, drug cartels, and terrorists, bent on violence and destruction.

I firmly believe that 30+ years in the Senate turns their minds into foggy messes with criminality running a close second. We would be far better off if there were term limits.

McLame is a hypocrite of monumental proportions.

He’s starting to become the Republican version of Ted Kennedy.

You're so focused on one minor detail that you cannot see the bigger picture about anything that is happening to or in this nation.

McCain will lose his primary all by himself, regardless who endorses him. The voters of AZ will decide his fate, and hopefully they will decide correctly.

The bigger picture is that we must all unite against the Obama regime for the 2010 elections, and afterwards continue to work toward the restoration of our constitional republic.

Or do you have some hidden agenda that makes you keep posting these silly anti-Palin things?

As Governor of the state with arguably the worst economy we can expect Obama would like her to replace the tax cheat as Treasury Secretary. ;d
