In an astonishing display of common sense the Klu Klux Klan has releasd a statement repudiating the activities of the Westboro Baptist Church, denying any connection or sympathy with the hate group.
The Westboro Baptist Church, notorious for the phrase "God hates fags", is best known for its protest activities, which include picketing funerals of fallen soldiers.
The church runs numerous Web sites such as GodHatesFags.com, GodHatesAmerica.com and others expressing condemnation of homosexuality.
The group bases its work around the belief expressed by its best known slogan and the address of its primary Web site, God Hates Fags, asserting that every tragedy in the world is linked to homosexualityspecifically society's increasing tolerance and acceptance of the so-called homosexual agenda. The group maintains that God hates gays above all other kinds of "sinners" and that homosexuality should be a capital crime.
The KKK does not give any reason for the disclaimer, only the following note on their website:

Still you've sunk pretty low when the Ku Klux Klan wants nothing to do with you.
Westboro Baptist doesn't care about all of society's ills. Just the homosexual ones.
While the communist "Black Liberation" movement is very much still alive and have made enormous strides since it all came about in the 1960s. But I doubt anyone would have imagined that one of their own would actually win the presidency of the United States!
He was a welder in a shipyard. Essential to the war effort, etc., etc.
An all-white shipyard, no doubt.
Phelps supported Al Gore
Damn good question. How did he avoid service in WWII. He was only in his early to mid twenties when the war started. I wonder how he got out of serving his country.
The Klan isn’t a hate group. They are a racists group.
I have never learned how to just respond to the title topic on freerepublic, if anyone can instruct me on doing that instead of me having to directly respond to one of the repliers I would appreciate that. I wish that freereplublic would use a standard forum like phpbb or mybb as it is more organized to me.
As for Phelps, he runs a counterfeight Christian cult (there have been thousands of these in the last 2000 years). All cults and false religions preach some truths, but they mix them with their false teachings which are Satanic or self created. Jesus nor the Apostle’s ever picketed funerals cursing those who had died in battle and claiming they are in hell because of what their government has done.
Phelps’ doctrine is the extreme end of what comes from a literal calvinist viewpoint believing that God actually created certain people to be damned without them ever having a chance to be saved, this is how Phelps can curse people to their faces and feel nothing, because he actually believes the people he is cursing were created to be cursed and somehow his twisted God is happy with His curses.
I really can’t believe the guy can picket funerals and be in his right mind, but it shows the extremes that a human being can be allowed to go if he turns to Satanic voices in his head tempting him from the clear and sound doctrines of the Bible. I read that there is only members of his direct family in his entire ‘church’. His group has nothing to do with traditional Baptist historic doctrines and Phelps alone is confusing masses of people that Baptists are somehow like Phelps.
All people like Phelps though were foretold in the Bible and they are nothing new, and those ignorant of the Bible should learn what the Bible says about such people.
2 Cor 11:13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Some of the worst evils and deceptions are done by wolves in sheep’s clothing. Jesus was very clear when He said:
Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
It is also an irony that you can be so messed up as Phelps that even the Klan (another counterfeit christian/pagan anarchist fusion cult) wants no part with you.
It was all foretold in the Bible anyways and should be no surprise to those who know the Bible.
LMAO! The Klan may be a bunch of paranoid racist neo-fascists, but they’re still loyal Americans.
How anyone calling themselves a follower of Christ can twist his teachings into hate is beyond me. Would love to be a fly on the wall when those folks have to explain their words and actions to Jesus in person.
Well...I guess that only leaves Charles Manson. If Charlie won’t have them, they are really “out there.”

Medical condition? Neither of my grandfathers served for medical reasons.
Thanks monkapotamus, I will try that from now on.
Of course. They are kept alive in case black folks start to leave the "plantation" en masse. Should that occur, there will be a resurgence of KKK inspired violence...
the infowarrior
No idea. But it wouldn't surprise me.
BS!
Both groups are hardcore democrats.
Of course they're democrats.
All the segregationists were RATs, the WBC was prominently seated at the DNC convention and has multiple photos with algor.
He was a klansman but he weren't no Republican. No more than the WBC is either Baptist or a church.
And I know that the Democrats in Kansas claim that Phelps is no Democrat either.
