NEW ORLEANS (AP) - President Barack Obama and Republican Sarah Palin sparred from a distance over nuclear policy with each questioning the other's experience on the issue in a potential preview of the 2012 White House race.
"Unbelievable," Palin said earlier this week after Obama rewrote the U.S. nuclear strategy, and she suggested the president was weak on nuclear defense.
Obama, in Prague to sign a nuclear reduction treaty with Russia, countered by deriding the former Alaska governor who resigned midway through her first term as "not much of an expert" on nuclear issues.

It’s always that Palin is ‘polarizing’ and Obama is ‘popular’. Same deal in the Reuters story earlier today. I wonder if Obama’s 43% approval level drops another 4 points into the 30’s if they’ll have the gall to keep writing the same tripe.
There is no problem with Palin calling BHO out.
It’s incredbily demeaning to the office of POTUS for BHO to be making snarky comments in public about a private citizen.
She gets to them.
I don’t think she’ll run for president. In fact, part of me thinks she shouldn’t...her comments would be tamed for the campaign and the office. She is too effective as a personality, an important a voice for conservatives and the average American, a voice that is rapidly stealing E.F. Hutton’s old line: When she talks, everybody listens.
Whether they like her or not.

Palin’s constant needling is exactly right—the sooner he blows & people see what he is the better. The narcissist can’t take it.
Palin, has a huge advantage—there’s not much left the MSM can do to her—they’ve done it all already.
Palin never lets them get the last word. She comes right back at them and uses their words against them. Whether it’s the palm print teleprompter or how does Palin know about nukes, she fires back with greater effectiveness and makes her adversaries look all the smaller for it. And I think she shouldn’t run for POTUS. The woman is too valuable putting to Dems on the defensive. She’d have to dial it back as a candidate.
I think this kind of stuff will be his undoing. Makes him appear even more naive, over a year in.
Wonder if Obama thinks NU CLEAR is an acne medicine?
