The Washington, DC, April 15, 2010 Tea Party Schedule per Freedom Works, co-sponsor with the Tea Party movement, is below.
Link to Freedom Works' actual April 15 agenda is HERE. And their Home page.
9am - 12pm: Liberty Summit at the Ronald Reagan Building and the agenda and map is HERE. Freedom Works would like you to sign up for this event. I suppose there is limited space.
1pm: Freedom Works is encouraging people to lobby their legislators, it appears the topic is your choice.
5:45pm: Pre-show for Rally. See below paragraph for rally info.
7pm - 9:30pm: Rally at NE quadrant of Washington Monument grounds on the south side of Constitution Avenue. Map Here. Freedom Works says "we are planning to have an evening event with speakers, music and lots of rowdy protesters". They have a list of speakers under their Event Schedule and Information tag at their above link.
The DC Chapter of FReeRepublic at this time is not planning anything special. If you want to meet up with other FReepers, [Mrs] T, myself and several others will be attending the evening Rally. We'll be standing as close as possible to the Jefferson Pier Marker just south of Constitution Avenue as shown on the map link. I should have my tall U.S./Gadsden flag. I'm not sure where we'll be once the program actually starts - just depends on the loud speakers (which are usually inadequate) and the stage location.
My guess is that Freedom Works' stage will be close to the Washington Monument so the W.M. can be a back drop for photo ops.
Weather is showing sunny and mid-70s, but could get chilly when the sun starts to set around 8pm.
Be sure to bring your cameras since the "progressives" intend to disrupt the April 15 events where ever they are held. At DC, Freedom Works has permitted the area so have the police remove anyone who is disrupting the event.
Hope to see some of you there.
That’s a great map....puts everything into perspective for one who’s never been there.
Lookout for thugs - high alert
I’ll be there. Just moved to MD after Obama forced me out of my home in Michigan and away from my wife and kids in search of a job. Now, his policies are keeping people from buying my home so Obama split up my family.
That what my sign will say.
Certified nut bag
Major shame about being split up. You have a lot of friends down here. Hope someone can help.
See you Thursday.

Hope to see you there at the evening doings.
THANKS Dc after dark?
Holy crap!!! I can’t believe I am stuck here in Japan!!!
I will be there is spirit!!!!!!! Love you guys!!
BE CAREFUL!!!!! The libs will do anything they can to get video of “angry tea partyers” Don’t swear, throw things, or an any way give them fuel. I don’t doubt they will CREATE situations if they can’t find them, but don’t hand it to them!!!
Thanks for your ping. We will be there.
Are you aware of any last minute updates to the schedule?

What time will you be at Jefferson Pier Marker?
Not sure if that many will show up but - if so - it will be hard for the MSM to ignore this time around.
The Tea Party Express III is having their arrival event at Freedom Plaza (at Penn. Ave & 13th St., NW) from 11am - 1pm
We will be getting there around 6pm
Look for the tall U.S./Gadston flag pole.
[Mr] T
2 mil, even a number close to that will never fit in the permitted area. Sure hope Freedom Works has a good sound system. Thanks for the info.
[Mr] T
Don’t fret, you’ve done your time in DC. Time for others to stand up and be counted. You were there keeping the ‘newbies’ spot warm.
[Mr] T
Good deal. See Post 32 about the Tea Party III plans.
[Mr] T
Hey,tr! Bless you and the missus for standing tall for all of us.
Can’t make it to DC today, but will be attending a local Tea Party rally in southern Delaware.
A prayer of protection for all patriots today.
Good deal. Local Tea Parties also need support. That is what the Tea Party is all about, nationwide anger over Obama’s socialism. We need you and everyone, where ever they are, to stand up and be counted.
[Mr] T
Thank you for being with us in spirit. Hope your support also extends to the FReep-a-thon. :-))
[Mr] T
I’ll look for you. I and a friend will be there. I’ll have my Gadsden flag draped over a backpack. He will probably be wearing a Gadsden shirt (yellow with the rattlesnake logo)
