NEW ORLEANS – Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says her "Don't retreat — reload" slogan is a call for political activism, not violence.
Addressing fellow conservatives at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Palin accused the media of twisting her words and tarnishing the reputation of the tea party movement.
She told Republicans on Friday, "Don't retreat — reload, and that's not a call for violence."

Just throwing this out there... Hypothetically, when is a violent overthrow justified? At what point in time do we take up arms? I don’t recall the Brits or Confederates putting up a non-violent resistance during their respective conflicts with the way we wanted to be governed .

I’ve been struggling with this for some time as well. My advice is to study the beginning of the Revolution. Who fired the first shots and why. We have such a sleepy sheeple to deal with it would take something dramatic to wake up enough people to fight.
Bottom line is; DON’T DO ANYTHING STUPID!!
Obama is just itching for a few crazies to start something (without the support of a good portion of the population).
The answer is that you open the “boxes of liberty” in order.
When the ballot box is “closed” by our enemies, and that’s what you would call someone who intends to enslave you and your children,
and the jury box fails,
then it’s time for the last box of liberty to be opened.
I have a feeling it’s going to start at a Tea Party rally, and not a Tea Partier starting it.
The union thugs and leftists are going to really start infiltrating this movement, whether in disguise or blatently protesting on the other side of the street.
One of these goons is going to ambush the wrong TP member... and Lord knows how many of them are CCW. I can honestly say I know many, many people that if attacked will fire on their attackers without thinking twice.
Then the proverbial crap hits the fan...
