The cat found beaten and nailed to a utility pole in rural Henry County, Illinois has died, according to the Dana Miller Veterinary clinic, which was caring for the animal.
A spokesperson said the cat, nicknamed "Dutch" passed away last night.
Dutch was found nailed by one paw to the utility pole near Dutch Bottom road outside the town of Geneseo on Monday.

I agree, I just tried to mention some need for priority - given the level of evil that is rising within society today!
I am not assuming anything when I say that others here care at least as much as you do about abortion. I have seen the opinions of almost all of them numerous times. I have yet to make any argument with you. I asked you a number of direct questions and you have dodged them all.
And, yes, it is related to pets.
So, it is you that is making assumptions about others. You are projecting.
Sorry about that - I thought I was answering your questions. I have done the best that I could do and nowI must retire, since I have but 3 hours before starting another day of working for a living!
yep - I guess so
Work can’t be much of a priority with so much human tragedy to deal with every day. ;^)
You should watch the kind of evil that will lead you into.
Cat killing is very germane to the issue of human murder and by cutting it off altogether you sacrifice a useful lead for your own biases. Almost all mass murderers have animal cruelty raps.
No, stay up all night because we outrage you by giving a place to consideration of animal cruelty. Please do. My cats encourage you from the very depths of their souls.
That is quite a rambling way of saying you ARE going to set work as a higher priority than “dealing with all the human tragedy you see daily.”
Yes... seems the ostensibly dedicated really isn’t.
FReeping comes before working. ;^)
I did say an appropriate amount. Most here revere human life over animal life, but the article wasn’t comparing the two, which gives us leave to decry evil towards animals for the amount of time it takes to read about Dutch. A momentary twinge for such suffering is about all any of us can spare since none of us can some close to God’s concern for each life, large and small.
You’d think that J Edgar spends all waking hours at least protesting in front of the closest abortion facility. And freeps from there via 4G connection. Maybe some protests in front of animal shelters too because that is somehow detracting from the horror of abortion.
I’d be QUITE curious to trace the background of abortionists to see if it holds true for them, as it holds true for other mass human killers, that they have a past of animal cruelty raps. I don’t remember the Congresswoman who said it, but during the debate on partial birth abortion some years ago, it was said that they did to nearly born infants what would be unconscionable to do to a kitten or puppy.
Don’t let J Edgar steal from you the inborn sense of horror this rightfully inspires. Nobody seems to be obsessing more about the matter than J Edgar himself, by the way.
I can see how that would leave little time for anything else.
lawl.
Why are you on this thread?
This is a thread about the cruel abuse of an innocent cat.
You not only show no compassion, you are criticizing those who do. How many cats have you tortured, that you seem to have no problem with the evil people who would do that to an animal for no reason? Do you think that it’s fine to torture animals to death, as long as you don’t abort a child? Is that what you are tellig us?
I checked and you don’t have a single post on any of the pro-life threads. If you are really so anti-abortion, why aren’t you posting on the pro-life threads?
All — here is a link to a lot of recent pro-life threads, cross reference it with J Edgar’s posts.

I mean, really it would have sufficed to remark that we shouldn’t forget the unseen slaughter of humans too. (The two are not isolated from one another.) Instead it was suggested that talking about visible cruelty to animals somehow fundamentally detracted from that, and it was flame fest ho!
