Many of us believe that America is going to suffer a neo-Soviet/Chinese invasion at some point in the near future, with a follow up nuclear war when we eject them.
Just great... I had wondered when Russia would start taking advantage of us... You’re right, this is REALLY bad...
You know... I wondered when Putin would start taking advantage of Obama’s weaknesses (he is a joke to them). I guess the time is now. There is no way Putin is going to want a US base inside a country he wants to re-integrate into the Neo-Soviet Union.
I don’t know if we need to worry about our folks being hurt necessarily, but Obama will probably acquiesce and “close” this important strategic base... He IS stupid enough to do so (IMHO). I hope it doesn’t come to that, but I don’t trust Russia at all, frankly.
It would be just like them (”Neo”-Soviets) to start something now — China has hurt us economically as they promised in 2007, and then Russia putting the pressure on while we are busy in Iraq and Afghanistan? As IF the Commies are gone? Hardly... Plus, Obama is a Fascist and Communists HATE fascists. Especially one who probably USED to be a Communist through his mom — who he rejected and embraced OTHER ideas...

I think an idea of Russian involvement is mostly to target increasing Chinese influence in Kyrgyz energy sector. President Bakiev’s brother who were in charge for commerce favoured the Chinese shifting nation’s policy towards them. That was made Russians nervous cause they are intuitionally sees detering the Chinese in Asia as a key to Russian national survival. That is why they want their puppet in charge to make him kick China out of Asian oil and gas routes. Holding US military by the balls in A-stan is their secondary mission at best.
That would make a great movie.

The old USSR at the height of their power did not have the logistic capacity to mount and sustain an invasion like that, much less so today’s Russia.
It is not necesarily bad. You should be worried more about our bases in the land of the Turk.

The Founding Fathers did not want us involved in the affairs of others. Bring everyone back, pull up the drawbridge, and drill here. Be prepared to unleash hell if someone attacked us at home.
Bin laden probably set the attack in motion, shaved his beard, left beforehand, and is living in a rooftop condo in Tehran. If he was in the Hindu Kush, he's long gone. Bring them home. It was a valiant effort and I am glad they killed hundreds of thousands of Jihadist in theater but Bin Laden ain't coming back.
