BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan - Kyrgyzstan's self-proclaimed new leaders said on Thursday that Russia had helped to oust President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, but they appeared to differ on how to deal with a U.S. air base (Manas) that has irritated Moscow.
Roza Otunbayeva, a former foreign minister now heading the interim government, said there were no plans yet to review the lease agreement for the Manas air base, which runs out in July. She said her government would meet U.S. diplomats for talks in Bishkek.

I am going old school here. The Founding Fathers did not want us involved in the affairs of others. Bring everyone back, pull up the drawbridge, and drill here. Be prepared to unleash hell if someone attacked us at home. Rest of the world can go suck eggs as far as I am concerned.

Well, he had to have someone do it for him. He doesn’t have the brains of an ant to do it himself. Even the TOTUS is no help on that stuff. Just one commie helping out another commie.
A few years ago I would've called you a kook for suggesting this. Russia has been in tatters for so long, it was hard to imagine them building up some sort of military alliance strong enough to confront anyone, including the US. But, now, not so much. Everyday, Obama does something new to dismantle our military and weaken our nat'l security. Whereas, Russia is rebuilding it's military.
Russia also has half the world's natural gas reserves - it hasn't even begun to exploit that resource to its fullest. Now, the thought of a resurgent Russia allied with the Islamic world, as stated in Ezekiel, does not seem far fetched at all.
Russia is securing energy sources and influence. Venezuela, the Middle East, and the Caucasus can easily be influenced or taken over by Russia. Europe is already dependent on Russia’s natural gas.
You believe the war of Gog and Magog happens before the Rapt.? I always thought it occured after the rapture - as Israel's greatest ally, the US, would be so incapacitated following that event, that it creates a hook in Russia's jaw to attack Israel. Don't know.
If you have not, I would really recommend you read “Ezekiel Option” by Joel Rosenberg. This guy is right on and how he lays out the scenario seems to be coming to pass verbatum. Even down to the Medvedev/Putin co-presidency. It is wild how accurate this guy has been.

I knew it! The Russians pulled a fast one on our President. Now our major air base for Afghanistan is in jeopardy! Wow, Medvedev and Putin know they are dealing with amateurs. Once KGB always KGB...
Obama will cut yet ANOTHER side deal with Russia to keep the Manas airbase.
