Arms Deal: President Obama signs away U.S. nuclear security and gives the Russians a veto over whether we can defend ourselves. Our nuclear umbrella is in tatters as another piece of paper proclaims peace in our time.
Completing a process of disarmament and appeasement that manifested itself in the dismantling and defunding of U.S. military power that began with his inauguration, President Obama signed a new strategic arms limitation treaty with a grinning and very happy Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday in the Czech capital.
How fitting this document was signed in Prague, which isn't far from Munich where in 1938 another document attempting to appease a tyrant was signed. The Czech Republic was also to be the site of missile defense radars to guide ground-based interceptors based in Poland against possible Iranian missile launches against Western targets.
That gutting of missile defense came on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland on Sept. 17, 1939. "Just after midnight," related Czech interim Prime Minister Jan Fischer, "I was informed in a telephone call by President Barack Obama that (his) administration had decided to pull out from the planned missile defense shield installations" in the Czech Republic and Poland. Now the betrayal is complete.

Obama still needs 67 votes in the Senate.
That would require 8 Republican defections (6 when you count out Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins doing what they usually do).

Isn’t this considered to be giving aid and comfort to our enemies? Seems like a high crime and misdemeanor to me.

I was young and had not yet begun to pay close attention to such things, so perhaps someone can enlighten me: Did there come a time in the Carter administration when the MSM figured out that we had a real problem, and started actually reporting?

The Regime has to run this past the Senate, and depending on how many new faces there are in the next Congress will go a long way toward seeing it this will be approved or not.

Carter was a one term president. Hopefully 0bama will be less than one term because I am not sure America can survive one full term of his TREASON.

President Obama signs away U.S. nuclear security and gives the Russians a veto over whether we can defend ourselves. What do you expect from the laziest, most imcompetent President this nation has ever had. Instead of actively negotiating with the Russians, Obama simply trusted them to write the treaty. The only work left for him was sign it. He did the same thing with health care. See a pattern here?

Appalling. I know where Sarah and Michelle stand on this but where are the other Republicans—?? This is INSANE. And the best the RINOs can seem to come up with is that Nancy Pelosi is a nice girl and we oughta like her. WTF?

Obama still needs 67 votes in the Senate. The wording also says the "advice" of the Senate. What advice has the Senate given on this purely Russian treaty?

The Senate won’t ratify this, so it is moot.
There’s no way in Heck that enough Republicans will side to pass this thing.
This will ultimately serve to show 0bama is a lame duck.
