Not to Worry AG. I put a seismograph in Glocks basement and he knows to look due west for my Smoke Signals or the mushroom cloud if it’s really bad...

Lost 3 inches of water out of my pool. I wasn’t home when it happened but was on the road home from burning up some evil oil in the desert.

Hard to say about a Nick Cage movie. :) But I agree. It really screwed with my mind. And I love that!

That’s not a heavily occupied area, but the way these things usually play out is that silence is common for a while, and it’s not a good sign.

...and was it a THRUST fault?
To: BunnySlippers
That is funny, and reminds me the neighbor and I were discussing his kitty -— who comes and “hangs out” with me a bit every day -— as I was on my way to church this morning. We had both noticed she was skittish of late. Voila!

Felt nothing on our granite site here in Glendale, but further north 5 to 7 miles, my sister and brother-in-law felt it in La Crescenta.

Given there are large aftershocks in both directions along the fault involved, it looks like this could have been a simultaneous bilateral rupture from a central epicenter (Like the 1906 San Franscisco Quake.)
Main quake was on the Laguna Salada Fault zone, and this appears like it may be a duplicate of an earthquake in 1892.
