WASHINGTON -- The FBI is warning police nationwide that an antigovernment group's call to remove governors from office could spark violence.
The Guardians of the Free Republic, whose Web site says it wants to "restore America" by peacefully dismantling parts of the government, sent the letters.
Investigators fear that the broad call to remove top state officials could lead nonmembers of the group to violence. At least two states, Utah and Nevada, have beefed up security in response.
As of Wednesday, more than 30 governors had received letters telling them to leave within three days or face removal, according to the FBI and Homeland Security.

I’ve read the letter sent to the governors or 30 pages of it, there’s like 79 pages and it’s for real. They say the letter and plan came from the military. doesn’t hurt to
hope it works.
Maybe they have the group confused with The Guardians of the Daily Kos or The Guardians of the Democratic Underground.
I do not believe this crap, this more hysteria being drummed up by the O administration. Probably has paid people to write the letters and drivel to cause for the problems. If an uprising develops he can have an Executive Order that deems ther is no need for elections in Novemebr 2010. More hype and the media is feeding into the O BS.
Yeah, we know about Wesley!

Turns out goftr.com and guardiansofthefreerepublics.com are registered to one Clive Boustred of Soquel, California - a British-educated former South African soldier with an apparent knack for "anti-terrorist warfare," computer consulting, and conspiracy theorizing. The sites - and the "group" - appear not to have existed before he registered them, about two months ago.Even as conspiracy mavens go, Boustred is a fascinating study. He's prominent on YouTube as a decrier of Jesuit, Masonic, Rothschild, and Fed conspiracies. As with many such folks, his anti-courts, anti-government anger appears to have originated with a personal legal beefâa weird story involving an ex-wife, infidelity, a restraining order, an "assassination attempt," and chocolate-chip cookies. He appears to have Astroturfed a number of other "companies" and organizations - Liberty for Life, Copper Cards, Strategize.com, and InfoTelesys.com.
Any non-threatening speech that is critical of Government could encourage violence and must be prohibited.
So obviously not a credible threat, why is the MSM even wasting time talking about it? I ask, but I already know the answer.
They are really going to town on this at Citizen Wells. Much info at both the top articles titled Blagovich’s upcoming June trial. There is even a claim that Gen. Schwartskoff(sp?) is involved and backed by the military. Just wish it was truee...but I am afraid it is disinformation, will continue to gain attention until it can be used as justification for putting in place martial law, because November isn’t that far off.
Check this out and some related articles on the same site. If you listen to the video, the removal of governors is not part of this. They are being asked to pledge an oath to uphold the constitution and if they can’t do that to be prepared to be replaced. Same story or not? There are various articles outside MSM that at least verify that something is going on which concerns the governors of all states. (Such as one about a lock down of the Nevada captial building.)

There are some people in the discussion who are rational and thoughtful. Damned interesting.
Good point.
