Parent Blows Whistle on Teacher Promotion of Obama Internship
The parent of a Perry High School student in Massillon, Ohio, set off a firestorm in his community and in the blogosphere when he gave Pamela Geller, of AtlasShrugs.com, a copy of an internship application provided to his 11th-grade daughter's government class the last week of January. The information packet, emblazoned with the Obama presidential campaign logo, was from DNC-funded Organizing for America (OFA), the successor organization of Obama for America. The student's father, identified as "Chuck," told Geller that the teacher offered no Republican Party internship equivalent to students.
The document, posted in its entirety on Geller's website, promotes a ten-week internship for "empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda of change," and for which students may receive course credit. Interns must commit to at least 12 hours a week, and will be taught how to be "leaders in OFA's organizing work this summer," i.e., campaign workers for the 2010 election season.
I had to go back and searh but I posted this a while back...since you're a fan of the real Robert Plant!

Did someone say MrRobertPlant2009?
Yeah, 'ol Mr. Robert Plant said "I'ts Been A Long Time" so he did the "Misty Mountain Hop" over here. Immediately, FReepers accused of being a troll which was a real "Heart Breaker", he was beaten so badly by "Four Sticks" so he decided to "Ramble On" to find the girl of all his dreams but she turned out to be a "Black Dog" who wanted to ball all day, he just said "Hey, Hey What Can I do" and went back to Kashmir....he didn't get a "Whole Lotta Love" here.
You have to be a Zeppelin fan to understand that. Post Reply | Private Reply | To 28 | View Replies
This one was easy to spot because someone used a similar MO in 2008. It took a while to convince the mods that she was a troll because she was "just asking questions." Now the MO is established, it is easy to spot. This troll registered in January.
BO's Youth Group. Barack Hussein Obama...mmmm...mmmm...mmmm. Next up, the civilian army.
Gee, I wonder if *the plant* will get his final check??
If leftists are for this kind of stuff, why are they against the Tea Party activism? *he asked, innocently" . . . .
Yep. I had Plant nailed in January ;-)
And now he’s uprooted.
Indeed.....LOL!
Amusing, because "Chuck" used to be derogatory slang for "white guy"...
Looks like Mr. Plant was planted! In the zotyard.
Precisely! For one, learn the tactics of the other side, for another it denies some little organizer a spot in Socialist U. Any kid well grounded in Conservative principles should be able to withstand the lies, and with the right mindset, scope out the 'true believers' from the recruits. Trying to 'turn' others in there might be risky, though. Just get in, learn their stuff, and get out.
Whatever. But it was a dumb move, IMO. Jemian checked his posting history and noted in post #21 that he'd post simple questions that seemed to cast doubt on the recipient. In this case, it was contrary to what any reasonable FReeper would believe, on a thread about as non-controversial as you can get on FR. Talk about outing oneself...
Ahhh man a zot and and i missed out on the fun...
Yeah, but for some reason when I saw Jemian call him out this morning I had a feeling that Mod the Impaler would have him skewered in short order.
Save that picture - it looks good on a thread wherein a troll is zotted.
Refind bump
He’ll be back or some other hireling like him. No solid personal convictions but willing to agitate for a buck.
