The drugs come to Mexico from Venezuela and Cuba, which are the final stopping points for drugs grown or produced in other parts of Latin America. Both VZ and Cuba use this money for their operations, particularly in spreading terror and instability in Latin America.
We’re not just seeing a drug war, we’re seeing essentially a violent Marxist takeover funded by drug money. Mexico for a long time tried to fight this - I remember the time Venezuelan military were found tramping around in Southern Mexico and there was a major incident. But whose best friend is now in the White House?
Hint: Not Mexico’s. Bambi luvs Hugo and Fidel.

The cartels have hand grenades and RPGs, but they’re going up to the US to buy their machine guns through lawful channels. Yeah right, tell us another one, Nancy Pelosi.
Yep, they show up in San Antonio and Houston with “Cartel” on the side of their vehicles and go to all the gun shows. While there, they buy up surplus soviet and chinese arms from bubba who imports them by the shipload and lots of ammo. Therefore the guns shows must be shut down to save us. Other than that the cartel guys are pretty cool at the gun shows, you know hanging out at the different booths, talking about the 2nd ammendment and how their crops are doing. Hey nancy, you ought to go sometime.
NO offense, as that may be true, but Mexico produces its own Heroin called 'Black Tar', made from Mexican grown opium (poppy) plants, 'Back tar' heroin was a scourge in the Chicago area in the '80's. And Mexico grows a heck of a lot of its own marijuana. In the 'olden days' it was really potent with a high THC content.(1)
From the hills of Mexico to South America its all primo pot and opium growing territory. Not sure about the coca plant to make Cocaine, but the Yucatan and southern Mexico looks right climate wise.
(1) but since Marijuana is a weed it'll grow darn near anywhere, the growing climate determines the THC levels.

If Mexico is about to fall into civil war and anarchy, our military NEEDS to be sent there to protect the border.
If obama doesn’t do anything to protect the American people from the overflow of violence, he needs to be impeached and charged with high treason.
He already would be impeached if democrats took their oaths seriously. There are two ways to make the borders safe. Crush the rats in November and the other has been in my tagline for several days now.
Mexico definitely produces drugs of its own; in fact, a lot of meth production has moved to Mexico.
However, the massive flow of drugs and money through Mexico needs a lot more than Mexico could produce even if every acre were turned over to cultivation of the raw materials and every maquiladora began to produce the finished product.
Venezuela and Cuba are the big shipping points, and the money from the drugs goes back to the Marxist guerrilla groups and international terrorist groups such as ETA or Islamicist groups. There is actually a big investigation of this going on in Spain right now, although naturally, you won’t hear about it here since it makes Hugo look bad (well, even worse).
I think if we realistically regarded Mexico as being under attack, we’d be able to respond better. But that’s assuming that we would want to respond - which we wouldn’t, since we now have a government or at any rate a President that is on the side of Hugo and Fidel.
