Atom Smasher Could Reveal "The Beginning" Physicists Laud Large Hadron Collider's Success; "Huge Step Toward Unraveling Genesis Chapter 1"

Heh lol (throat clearing cough) well, you see, uhmmmm....
;)
So they discovered that all God had to do was smash a couple of atoms and BANG, the universe was created?!
That may be true, but first he had to create atoms. Call me when scientists can pull off that one.
“CERN and many scientists dismiss any threat to Earth or people, saying that any such holes would be so weak that they would vanish almost instantly. In the universe, where black holes collide, this is nothing, Kaku said.”
“From Nature’s point of view, she laughs and says ‘this is a peashooter’,” Kaku said.
Famous last words?
And physics too!
“Some of the particles they are making now or are about to make haven’t been around for 14 billion years.”
“Nature does it all the time with cosmic rays (and with higher energy), but this is the first time this is done in Laboratory!” said another tweet.
What am I missing here? The two statements seem to contradict one another. The first statement says the particles they are creating have`nt been around in 14 billion years. But the second statement seems to say nature is creating those particles all the time.
Perhaps “huge step toward unraveling” is not the best term to use in reference to the Collider...
They may not believe what YOU believe the Bible means, but they do have faith in God, and in a predominantly Christian nation that faith is usually Christianity.
Most do not beleive that God spoke and it happened. they do not know how it all began except that God did not start it.
Something tells me that I don’t want to be anywhere near the vicinity of this thing when it starts “smashing atoms”.
Physicists who study these high energy particles usually believe that science can answer questions about the beginning and many find absolutely no contradiction between figuring out how things could have happened in the physical universe and that it all unfolded by God's will.
So is your position that unless it was magical as in “God spoke and it happened” then God didn't do it? When the Bible says that God made my body from dust (and to dust my body will return), does it contradict that I was also made via cellular processes involving DNA?
When God created our Sun, did he not create it unless “God spoke and it happened”? Or is it forming via gravitational attraction and nuclear fusion sufficient for God to have created it?
Right now stars are forming via gravity and nuclear fusion. To me God is creating those stars just as surely as he created our Sun and God created all things, just as he created me from dust.
But I was also created via cellular processes involving DNA.
You must hate science..
Unless God did it directly from dust then they don't believe the Bible?
Do you similarly believe there is, within the uterus, something that forms human beings from literal dust?
As I said, they may not believe the same thing you believe about the Bible, but it is a lie to characterize them as unbelievers.
