Half of Americans say they are fine with an openly gay president -- and they're even hotter on a lesbian Miss America or homosexual Super Bowl quarterback, according to a poll released yesterday.
Fifty percent of those questioned by the 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair survey said they'd have no problem with a gay commander in chief.
Even more said they'd support a gay Miss America or NFL quarterback.
The poll also found:
* More people define being rich as earning at least $300,000 a year.
* The director who most would chose to direct a movie of their life is Steven Spielberg. The not-so-close second was Quentin Tarantino, followed by Woody Allen.
* Sex addiction is bunk, according to

That's how my generation got brainwashed into the notion that 10% of the population is gay. They projected a survey of prisoners, Catholic Priests, and guys who had been marooned on desert islands together onto the the entire population. And the survey declared "gay" anyone who had ever had any sort of same-sex contact even once, or had fantasized about someone of the same sex. I'm not making this up, that's where that figure comes from. I can remember being in health class in an all-boys Catholic HS, when the liberal teacher told us: "There are 30 boys in this room. Three or four of you are gay." This was in a Catholic school! Meanwhile, according to more scientific surveys, the numbers are more like 1-3% of the adult popluation, with gay men ournumbering lesbians significantly.
Certainly we would, but none of those men WERE gay. I can't imagine one of them BEING gay, because I have known more than my share of gay men in my lifetime. Even the conservatives were nothing like the three men you mentioned.
Vanity Fair is a pro-Obama, GOP-hating publication while 60 Minutes....you dont need an explanation.
Damn, I always forget to vote in the online poll whenever I visit the CBS website. Or watch their TV station for that matter. I'm usually too busy changing the batteries in my smoke detector, or something like that.
In that case, I don't know why you're a fan of Reagan's. He hated libertarianism.
Oh good, Obama can come out of the closet and save his poll numbers now.
Well, I’d prefer she be bi :)
Barney Frank could care less - what he REALLY wants to be is ... WAIT FOR IT ... Miss America !!!
I pitch 1000 percent better than that, and I'm a grandma!
I don’t understand the point of the Lindsey Graham picture. Please explain.

8. No Atheists or Agnostics
9. No muslims
The “Progressives” in our audience are going to read your post and think you are saying you’d never vote for a black candidate. That’s not what you meant to say, right?
Ambidexterous Yanks pitching prospect Pat Venditte (the first in ML history) is throwing better than that with either hand tonight.
Heh...I’m also ambidextrous and use it to advantage in lots of sports.
My hypothetical was stated poorly. My point was that a candidate could score 99% on a conservative scorecard and the one point missing would be his/her sexual orientation. I was just wondering if that would be a deal killer for most here.
I would be inclined to accept 99% of what I’m looking for every time. That’s a theoretical situation in which I would probably vote for a homosexual. This is purely academic, I’m not campaigning for Richard Simmons for POTUS as some here seem to think.
That’s all well and good, but if you are assuming (even hypothetically) that the is a homosexual on this planet who could be counted on the to be a dependable Republican president, you’ve been brainwashed by liberals. You probably also think that men and women think and solve problems exactly the same way, and the only difference is genetalia. Here is a non-politically correct fact (but a fact none the less): There is no scientific basis whatsoever for the idea that homosexuality is innate. It is an aquired mental illness. Period. Any arguments to that fact are wishful thinking. Now, I have had many wonderful gay friends, and even two close family members, so please accept that I have nothing personal against homosexuality. What I’m saying is that if we ever get to the point where the only dependably conservative candidate we can come up with is gay, then we might as well surrender to the terrorists, because we’ve obviously already surrendered to the liberals and lost already.
More proof that I don't live in America, I live in New York City. $300K makes you upper middle class, at best.
Backfield in motion, I'm gonna penis, er, penalize you!
