If he can’t afford it, maybe someone will set up an account for donations. I’m in.

I would burn the money before handing any over so that it would go into their coffers.

That “church” has enough money to send members around the country picketing at funerals? Then they have enough for court costs.

Period.

Westboro is actually financed by Al Gore and a litany of other nasty democrats.

Another example of why our country is sinking rapidly into a whirlpool of sh*t.

Rewind 30 or 40 years, and this protester would have had his ass kicked soundly. Now, thanks to all the lawyers, anyone can do anything they want.

The westboro satanic cult is proof that those on the political right are law abiding citizens. If the right was full of vigilantes, christian militia and violent revolutionaries, Phelps and his spawn would be dead and their ‘church’ a smoking, burned out shell. That they live is a testament of Christian charity and the adherence to turning the other cheek.

As disgusting as it is to protest a fallen soldier, is it not the protesters first amendment right to protest?

I am thrilled that efforts are being made to help the Marine’s family.

This is an instance where the judge could have and should have been more lenient on behalf of the Marine’s family considering the circumstances.
