Ron Christie has to be among the most loyal Republicans around. The former aide to Dick Cheney and George Allen is a regular on Ed Schultzs MSNBC show, where he ardently defends GOP positions, typically in the face of a liberal double-team.
So when Christie comes this close to calling on RNC Chairman Michael Steele to resign, its news. And thats exactly what happened on this evenings Ed Show . . .
Schultz set things off with a question referring to todays revelations about the RNC reimbursing charges at a strip club with a lesbian-bondage specialty.

Say goodnight, Steele. Ping to Today show list.
Chris Christie is a bulldog. He is awesome.
I want him for POTUS in 2012.
Whoops! This is Ron Christie. My apologies.
Steele will not be missed.
NJ Gov. Chris Christie is indeed a bulldog, though in this case we’re talking about former Cheney aide Ron Christie, a very loyal Republican.
Amen.
Steele must go!
its for sure they need a pow wow...
There is a story in BREAKING NEWS on the right side of your screen that says the RNC denies that Steel expensed trip to X-Rated Club.
That the money was a payment to Erik Brown, at an address in Orange, California, who was reimbursed for the $1,946.25.
Brown is a Republican direct mail consultant (his business address is the one on the FEC report).
I do understand that Steele is not being accused of visiting the club himself. But the fact that the RNC reimbursed anyone for the expense is one more in a string of embarrassments under Steele’s administration. IMHO he’s a gaffe machine who needs to go.
Could be time to move on.
After seeing that former congressman, name forgotten, from the state of OK, come out and shyly support obamma, I thought to myself that skin color means more than party ideals to blacks like these, therefore I thought how can a black man ever be trusted to be a completly loyal republican, standing up for what the republican party has long espoused as their ideals? I hope there are some that really can? Maybe this guy, but who knows right now?
Steele has been rusting away for too long.
Time for new mettle.
I just don’t know what to think about this. Not part of the “in crowd.” But, while there have been stumbles by Steele, I can’t help but think there is something contrived about this. Chatsworth’s reporter clearly wrote this to make it seem that Steele was at this place, which he clearly wasn’t. They had to know that, so why did they write it that way? What is Tucker up to, is my question. Push out a black guy for the bad optics? Who is on what side? Sometimes you just don’t know.
Just because Steele is a Republican and black doesn’t mean he can’t be thrown out with the rest of the trash.
But, everyone will scream racism. Too bad.
Praying that Ron Steele demads this Looser’s Resignation! Every time One turns around, Steele has his Foot stuck in Cow Manure, and usually its alot worse than Cow Manure! That anyone in the RNC had the Gross Stupidity and Immorality to submit an Expense for a Literal Whorehouse is Disgusting and Reprehensible! and should be interpreted as an Actof Internal Sabotage!! FIRE THE BIDEN NOW!
From what I understood the article to read was that Mr.Brown is a Republican direct mail consultant (his business address is the one on the FEC report).
And Doug Heye, RNC’s chief spokesman said “The story willfully and erroneously suggests that the expenditure in question was one belonging to the Chairman.
And he said that Steel had no knowledge of the expenditure. That it was a reimbursement made to a non-committee staffer.
So, for myself, I’d like to keep my powder dry and wait until there are some real facts other then a bogus charge made by some democrat blogger.
Right now democrats would love nothing more then to start a fight within the Republican party. We should expect more of this type of low tactics. They will throw everything, even the kitchen sink, looking for something to stick to the wall so they can keep their socialist democrats in office. IMHO
“Id like to keep my powder dry and wait until there are some real facts other then a bogus charge made by some democrat blogger.”
I’m the person behind FinkelBlog, and can assure you I’m a conservative Republican. You can verify that by checking out the other items at FinkelBlog: http://finkelblog.com/ or my work at NewsBusters: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2010/03/29/norahs-nah-nah-defense-obama-leather-jacket-palin-wears-one-too
I simply believe that Steele has made a string of gaffes and that the RNC would be better off with someone else.
