But compared to Christ Matthews and Keith O. and Bill Maher, Beck's "incendiary rhetoric" is benign. And no one is out there trying to censor those other bitter men. And that doesn't even take into account the hateful vitriol of Rosie and Janie G. and those dumbs witches on "The View".
But I forgot that only liberals are allowed the full-range of free speech and conservatives better play nice-nice or face FCC ex-communication.
Why is anyone surprised that the long knives are out for Beck? He’s stirring the pot big time and showing stuff that certain individuals don’t want made public. GO GLENN!
I’ve never bought an Apple product and probably never will. I do wish, though, that AT&T would get a smart phone capable of competing with the iPhone.
This is drivel coming from Kurtz’s neoconservative buds. The only thing that will drive Beck off the air is a scandal or falling ratings, neither of which will likely happen.
No surprise here. It’s to be expected. If they were going to attack O’Reilly non-stop, and they did/do, then Beck was sure to get head horse heads in the mail.
Steve Jobs has been notorious over his working life of encouraging those that work at Apple to ‘collaborate’ and ‘excel.’ What that has meant is expecting people to be at work at unreasonably long hours, working and working and working.
There was a time his green jeep was all the rage across all kinds of associates and fellow Applebots. Being the same is wonderful in the commune of millionaires only, after all. The problem has been that not everyone was ever going to be one.......yes, even at Apple.
Microsoft has been the same. Expecting slavery in golden handcuffs. Same thinq, same ethinq, same world view. While Gates, Ballmer, et al. retired to Vashon Island or wherever it is in the San Juans, with their perfectly manicured, millionaire ‘commune lawns.’
One of the people who invented of the CD was a member of the SDS after all and was underground. The hippies knew where the money was and ran to it to grab what they could or steal the ‘opponent’s’ position. It was never about justice for all; rather, it was about just-4-me.

Beck on TV draws in many who otherwise would not hear the conservative message. He is female friendly and has an un-threatening TV presence. Hannity on TV is too hot and strident. Does not bother me but it bothers others
Getting female listeners (watchers) is the holy grail for all radio and TV talk hosts
People I talk to say just what you have...that Beck has taught them things about our country that they had either forgotten or never knew.
He explains these things in terms that are easy to understand and not boring.
I agree, no other show teaches as Beck does!

WOW! What a hatchet job! Kirtz drones on and on while CNN ratings plummet and Fox’s Beck show soar. Could the unions have something to do with sponsors reaction to Beck’s “tel lit like it is” method? The country;s dire straits require the truth, no matter how harsh. If contracts are broken, FOX and the sponsors will suffer. Perhaps a little professional jealousy is brewing? I would say so! Too bad if ONE television News channel cannot diversify during these bleak times. Or does the truth hurt too much?
That’s an interesting observation, and I think it has merit.
I will say that years ago I found Hannity to be somewhat of a light-weight (rightly or wrongly), and I haven’t been compelled to watch him much since.
From what I have seen of him of late, he seems to be better, but these observations have been ‘merely in passing’ moments. I may be wrong.

Since others are bringing Rush into this, I will just point out that one of Rush's "axioms" is that Dems (or Libs) will always tell you who they are afraid of. They are constantly going after Beck.
As for Glenn's show: I have been watching since he was on CNNHN, and one thing I do miss are the guests. I also miss the Friday, one hour, special guest that he would have on. They were interesting interviews, and, I think the audience could use a break sometimes from the "schoolwork".

When 0bammy took over GM they stopped advertising on Rush, Hannity and Beck. GM advertising had a moment of hard truth to finally go after right wing consumers who I'll bet buy American made automobiles more than liberals do.. They had to since they were trying to avoid bankruptcy
So GM is flush now, so regressed back to normal, so no more advertising with Rush, Hannity and Beck

CNN had to include HLN in the total to come close to Fox News.
The even split in the country requires pulling in the “independents” - people like Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor and Bobby Jindal should be leading the charge with their reasoned rhetoric and sensible plans to get the country back on track.
Beck right now is antagonizing evangelicals by telling them the truth too harshly about “social justice”. The bearer of truth need not be offensive to be effective.
