It’s not that I liked Geraldo before. I don’t actually know anyone who watches his show other than on YouTube. But..he’s now officially become the ‘Rachel Maddow’ of FOX News.
This is how he started his interview with America’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio:
With the exception of CNN’s Lou Dobbs. For millions of American latinos the most unpopular person in this country is my next guest the so called toughest cop in the nation. The highly controversial sheriff of Maricopa County, Joe Arpaio. And as I said earlier with Gov. Huckabee, Joe has been recently been stripped of federal authority to enforce immigration law. And again understanding that many of you disagree with me. I am delighted. It’s exactly, Joe, as I advocated in my latest book. I’m going to send you an autographed copy, “The Great Progression.” It was the right thing for the President to do to strip you of immigration enforcement jurisdiction. But, Sheriff Joe let me ask you right out. How do your cops decide who to card? Who to ask who’s a citizen and who is not of this country.

Fox should have fired him after he threatened to spit on Michelle Malkin next time he saw her.
Is Fox willing to kill the golden goose over Immigration reform? This is the great wedge issue, actually a sword blade hanging over the Republican Party’s neck.

This country is gone when the federal government can tell a county sheriff what to do and how to do it. The county sheriffs were the one law enforement branch that I always thought we could count on to be on our side. That won’t be the case if they don’t exist.
As for Geraldo, he was Fox’s first move to the left. It’s moving that way more and more.

Can’t stand the cocky liberal @sshole. I change the channel from Fox the minute he comes on. Disgusting little twerp whose ego is twice as big as he is. I wish they would can his butt from Fox. They treat him like royality on Fox & Friends which I find repulsive. He sickens me.
At best, he could be called an entertainer, but never a reporter.
Same here, he’s just one reason. Greta’s tabloid show is another, and the self-serving gasbag O’Reilly is another.
I caught this interview last night and was disappointed big time. Sheriff Joe is upholding the law. If people Geraldo has an afinity for are breaking the law... there’s a price to be paid. Arpaio made it clear at the end of his interview, he’s not writing the laws, he is ENFORCING them. I’m on the other side of the country, but from what I read Sheriff Joe seems to be one of the few things going right in this country.
I say come here legally. Otherwise take a hike back across the border. Not much more complicated than that.
Don’t insult sideshow barkers by lumping geraldo in with them.

Geraldo is an outmoded, quixotic media curiosity only slightly less titilating than the news ‘copter live feed of 149 Higway Patrol cars following a white SUV around the Los Angeles freeway system. The sum total of Geraldo’s media value could be bought and paid for with the contents of Al Capone’s vault.
Any one who thinks Sheriff Arpio is unpopular does not have a clue....I wish he would run for president!!!
Geraldo tried to push his way through a bunch of miners here in West Virginia to impose his style of journalism on the widows of a miners during a cave-in. He got punched in the nose for his trouble, and left without his story.
FOXNEWS does such a great disservice to its viewers by featuring this most disgusting person on TV. Sheriff, I commend you for your comportment when there’s a pile on the other end just waiting for a shovel.
