After reading the US and international press over the past week, one could be forgiven for thinking that the president had just won a world war.
Weve been bombarded with headlines on both sides of the Atlantic lauding a reinvigorated, all-powerful president, with a spring in his step who could no doubt walk on water if he deigned to do so. Indeed, in the last few days, Barack Obama and Joe Biden have strutted across the country with a vain swagger that would make a peacock blush, from the vice presidents classless, foul-mouthed victory boast at the White House, to the presidents contemptuous mocking of his political opponents at a rally in Iowa.
Both leaders have been beaming like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, living in their own Tim Burton-like fantasy. And what have they actually achieved? The passage of a massively controversial, divisive and hugely expensive health care reform bill via a Democrat-dominated Congress in the face of overwhelming public opposition, and without a shred of bi-partisan support.
And a nuclear arms agreement with the Russians that works to the advantage of Moscow. The first of the two victories will add nearly a trillion dollars to the national debt, and dramatically increases the power of the federal government over the lives of ordinary Americans. The second is a feel-good PR exercise that does nothing at all to make the world safer in an era of rogue states and Islamist terrorism.
Looking past the smoke and mirrors spin wafting out of the White House, the future looks far more grim. Under Barack Obama the United States is drowning under $13 trillion of debt, with the health care bill likely to significantly add to that burden. The $787 billion stimulus package has failed to create jobs

link Socialist agenda- mirror image of Obama- Pelosi- progressives agenda.
Barack is celebrating his victory, he is celebrating American decline — ushering in the weaker, kinder, gentler America as opposed to the strong one that, according to his communist script, is the transgressor, the evil oppressor in the world. This has come about though stealth — as communists as always prone to such tactics — and complicity from the Democratic party and media. All the leftist pundits — from Sharpton to Dean — are now openly mentioning the words “socialist” or “redistribution of wealth” as if it were common knowledge. They believe the dye is set — America will be like socialist Europe.
How did we get here? Who will set us back on the right road? Does America want to get back on to the right road or will it buy into Obama’s latest sales pitch? It will remain to be seen what America will do. The stakes are high and Obama is running his victory lap.
Obama has fooled America once. He thinks he can do it again with the silky charm a centerfold idol. Conservatives and many Americans are fighting back. Many think November will be a cold month. And revenge is always a dish best served cold.
There are many UK citizens that see us as the last hope of freedom and are hoping we do not go down this road. They have warned us about universal healthcare, climategate and spread of Islam.

Paris, France. It is very cool to be a French intel guy. A spectacular meal at a Parisian bistro with $90 entrées and a $200 bottle of Bordeaux? No problem. Id known this fellow since he got me out of a jam in Sudan years ago. His James Bond days are over, but still, riding a desk for the DGSE Direction générale de la sécurité extérieure (General Directorate for External Security), Frances military intel agency in Paris has its decided benefits.
One of them is not being infected with Obamamania. My agency considers him a joke, he confides. Every day there is some fresh lunacy that we cannot believe. Mr. Bush would often make us angry. But at this man we just laugh.
In truth, it also makes us sad, he continued. French resentment towards America is strong, so being able to laugh at your country feels good. But it is such a sad and strange thing to see America America The Great! do something so crazy as to elect this ridiculous man.
There are many people in America who think he isnt a legitimate president as he wasnt born in the US and isnt a natural citizen. What do you think? I asked.
He shrugged. I wouldnt know. Ive never had reason to make an inquiry.
There are a lot of people convinced he is a traitor who hates America and is actively determined to destroy it. Any opinion on that?
He didnt shrug at this. After a long slow sip of wine, he mused, I would not go that far. Many of his actions, however, are very puzzling because they are so counter-productive regarding Americas best interests. There seems to be a consistent pattern in that direction.
What does Sarkozy think of him?
Nothing but contempt.
After a pause he asked, And Langley?
Well, if you thought the war they waged against Bush was intense, it was nothing compared to how theyre going to screw Obama. He has tried to gut them with the torture memo release and slashing their budgets. The morale is depressed, sullen, and enraged. You know what a left-wing outfit Langley is. They thought he was their boy and they feel betrayed. All kinds of damaging stuff on him will be appearing via their media friends.
He nodded. And in Tel Aviv City?
He was referring to the huge underground city complex of Langleys underneath the US Embassy in the Israeli capital. Thats an interesting question. You know how vast and deep the relationship is there. Langley is making every effort to overcome the total and massive distrust their Israeli colleagues have for Obama, whom they know is selling them down the Jordan River. So far though this effort is in words. The Israelis are waiting to see what Langley does.
He said nothing. I smiled. You guys wouldnt be Langleys cutout for thwarting BO regarding Israel, would you? Id never suspect that
He continued to say nothing, gave me only a slight smile in return, and poured me another glass of wine. The Bordeaux is good, yes? I nodded.
You know, the French media worships this man the same as yours in the US. All of this 100 days talk, it is impossibly stupid. Most anyone in the French elite, the business leaders, Sarkos people, they all know this. They all think this is some crazy joke of the Americans. But it is a very, very dangerous joke. For 100 days your president has been a laughingstock among the tout le monde of Paris. No one may be laughing 100 days or 10 months from now.
He leaned forward. The world can go how do you say sideways with this man very quickly. No one he has working for him knows what they are doing possibly excepting Mrs. Clinton and he certainly does not. All of us in our little community are worried us, our friends in Berlin, London, Tel Aviv, and Langley too as you say. It is not like the barbarians at the gates. It is every barbarian horde in the world being told there are no gates. The Somalis, Chavez, Iran, Putin, Beijing, the Norks as you call them, the list is long and it is growing. We are not sure what to do.
It took me a moment to respond. The best thing that has happened now is Obama making Langley his enemy. They will be cooperating with you more, be more a part of your worried community. Working together, you can undermine his efforts more effectively, block and maybe even repair the damage.
It was my turn to lean forward. Then again, all together you could be more pro-active. The man is a mystery. Nobody can make public his actual birth certificate, or even the particular hospital he was born in, or his college grades, or how he got into Harvard, or how he made editor of the Harvard Law Review and never wrote a single article for it. It goes on and on. He really is a Zero. I think all of you guys should find all of this out and make it known.
I added, The quicker the better, before the laughing stops and the real dangers begin.
What is that phrase you use? he asked. Something to consider?
I laughed. Yes, there is much to consider and much that you can do. I mean, really, if the Soviet Union could be dismantled, so can this presidency.
It was a beautiful April afternoon in Paris. He walked me back to my hotel. It could be that the times we live in may get even more interesting.
Don’t you love the comments on there?
Yes, Obama running up $13 Trillion in debt is hunkey dorey because Bush ran up money for the wars.
When people talk about civil war, I think I finally understand the brother against brother thing in the American Civil War. I just don’t understand how these people think and it seems they cannot comprehend our way of thought either. And instead of finding a way to compromise (of course there is no compromise, only my way or no way) we just end up hating each other.
You are right about the rest of the world ‘getting it.’ It seems the left is so arrogant, they can’t comprehend that their ideas are wrong and instead of seeing what is WRONG in Europe and avoiding it, they are determined to follow it step for step. It almost seems like a form of self loathing to do things un American just for the sake of being a rebel.
If the rest of the world has gotten over enjoying the ‘great’ America take a big tumble, and is now getting worried about the future as we are, then just maybe we will be getting some amazing help in terms of investigations into our leader’s creepy past and future intent.
This sounds more like a novel of fiction. And would be taken for that if it wasn’t about real people.
Funny about that. People have commented for the last year, how if you wanted a real perspective on events in America, you had to buy your newspapers in Fleet Street. Or now, the Ginza, I suppose.
Has Obama got 'round to dissing the Mikado yet? Japan has been waaaaay too friendly to the U.S. to be a Friend of Barack. The Japanese ought to put an army on Midway. Then Zero would be happy to talk to them.

Any time about now would be really appropriate ..... come on, guys, spring your stuff!
I still think lawsuits would be a good way to open up his records, now that his legislation "damages" so many people. That seems to be what the various courts were saying a year ago: You have no standing, you weren't damaged!
Moron judges. Well, "how do you like me now?" </song>
Although what this American was doing, discussing this stuff with a French spook, was totally inappropriate.
That was the reasoning of the courts in many of the outcomes, I believe you are right.
This is JUST TOO PERFECT!
Wonder if we could get one of those CEO's to SUE WAXMAN for harassment and sue duhbama at the same time for full disclosure of his history since NOW companies really are at risk from duhbama's actions!
Oh I would LOVE IT!
North Korea launched a Taepodong-II intercontinental ballistic missile right straight over Japanese territory in the Tohoku region several hundred miles North of Tokyo, toward Hawaii for pete sake. Obama slept right through it (or was playing basketball or masturbating or something, who knows?) and did not have the decency to consult ASAP with the Japanese Prime Minister at the time here, nor did he nor his State Department and NSC team have any particular response nor effective action and condemnation of the DPRK for such an act.
That alone shook a LOT of average, grassroots Japanese out of their induced slumber regarding "The Messiah" which their own media (very liberal in many quarters) had engineered. Total, complete, nonstop, non-critical 24/7 coverage of Obama in Japan...that changed dramatically with that one North Korean missile shot.
Bump! Ping!
Yeah I was suprise that Twitter diss got pick by Japan press
"...the future looks far more grim. Under Barack Obama the United States is drowning..."
Thanks for the ping American In Tokyo.
