See post 294 above. I wasn’t aware of this law before today but apparently, demonstrating the use of anti-personnel explosives while carrying any firearm is a federal crime on two counts, one charge for demonstrating the use of WMD and one for possessing firearms in the process. If this is the case, that youtube video is pretty damning.
Yeah, the law sounds pretty brad.
Excellent, excellent point.
Reading those definitions only reinforces my concerns.
This administration could apply them to almost expression of anger directed towards them.

ChooseYe, back during the Waco incident, I was among those freepers who said, “they sound like whack jobs in waco.”
I was wrong, because America’s buying the government characterization allowed the government to move against them. The results were tragic. Just because I agreed they were nuts WITHOUT also saying that the government had no business attacking their compound with women and children inside.
These people might be whack jobs, but that doesn’t mean they should be rounded up in secretive operations and held for months with the flimsiest of evidence against them.
As mentioned, no one can point to even one injury or one bit of damaged caused by this group.
Innocent until proven guilty and set them Free on bond until trial would be my position right now.
I’m not sure conspiracy would quite qualify as a “thought crime.”
I can see the point, in that the crime had not actually been committed.
But I don’t think it’s legal to plan, coordinate, and recruit for a murder or a mass murder. I don’t think it should be, either.
Handsome is as handsome does!
"If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both."

Interesting how, after burning the U.N. flag (applause), instead of hoisting the U.S.A’s stars and stripes - the suuper geniuses chose to fly the flag of their local militia warlord.
Couldn’t find their homepage.
Got a page not found on their MySpace page.
Wonder if they really exist.
Seems to me that a militia group with a website earns a Darwin award.
Some of us have been suspicious of the FBI for a lot longer than Zero has been in office.
first they marched through protesters in DC and nothing happened so they made up stories.
They then said that threats against Dems were made but ignored the threats to the GOP.
They then said the shooting which was hardly covered at Cantors office was an accident and not directed at him on purpose.
Obama then leaves the country to avoid going to church for Palm Sunday.
They then arrest these guys on B/S charges while muslims in upstate NY have a compound where they shoot auto weapons and no one is allowed in .
They still are trying to make the right wing out as violent and a threat while the left are the ones attacking and ruining this country
but the black panthers have their charges dropped when there is even video evidence
According to the grand jury at least, these guys did commit a crime (and, based on the grand jury indictment, the arresting officers had probable cause to arrest). Conspiracy is a crime.
I've seen that demonstrated a million times in Hollywood movies. Have they arrested Bruce Willis or Sylvester Stallone?
Now they did burn the UN Flag. I'm sure that will get them all life without parole.
Charged with planning it, it's call conspiracy. They likely were just BSing and the mole turned them in.
Conspiracy is what they charge you with for talking about something. Sometimes the judge will insist those charged actually do something. Like buying blakc powder and/or plumbing supplies.
