Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on Islamic-American Relations of Michigan, on Sunday said that the FBI foiled a plot to attack and kill Muslim-Americans.
Walid was attending the group's 10th anniversary banquet in Dearborn, Michigan where the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson was keynote speaker.
Muslim leaders in Chicago are "following developments of the arrests with great interest and concern," says Ahmed Rehab, Executive Director of CAIR Chicago.
"If some of the initial reports are true. Then, these radical groups are a chilling indication that anti-Muslim hysteria in some circles may be developing into stages of organized terroristic activity," Rehab said Sunday night.
Late Sunday, on the Hutaree message board, an apparent member of the group wrote about how the FBI came into their home and that she and one child escaped. "The Federal Authorities have raided not only our group but also the Michigan Militia. They have hijacked their website and placed word there that they were not raided" wrote the woman named Anna.
The Michigan Militia indeed reported on Sunday that it's members had not been subjected to raids or arrest. It is unclear whether this is accurate.
The Hutaree message board author further reported: "We need some help please. This has to stop. I am enroute south with my children using the wifi's as I can. They were catching others as they came to their rallying points, they broke into homes and took children and used the tasers on wives, my son who is 12 and I got out by crawling through the creeks behind our house. My husband and others are taken, please call the press and tell them, if any in the Michigan Militia is still free please rally with them. Please help."

Certainly sounds like they (muslim leaders) knew beforehand what was going to happen.
Yep.
Won't happen. They would have done that a long time ago. The feds don't even pretend to be interested.
Well, they are probably the ones that organized it and set it up. Therefore, one would assume that they knew what was going on.
But obama is who ordered holder to execute it.
It’s almost surprising they didnt let the plot unfold so they could try to further demonize “right wing Christian militias”.
Make no mistake, this was taken straight out of Napolitano’s Right Wing Extremism handbook.
That assumes there WAS a plot and not just an excuse.
Speaking of killed, I can cite Ruby Ridge where a non-Muslim govt agent killed Randy’s wife.
Ah...someone has been paying attention...
Yep...pretty good evidence that nichols met with Abu sayaff...
Many witnesses saw the men fleeing in a brown pickup..
Etc...
may well have been lilly whites...
COULD have been a group that was genuinely dangerous,
and they painted them as “Christian” in order to justify
future “endeavors”.
Just heard they were being charged with sedition and conspiracy to use weapons of wass destruction...
Great...now I’m wondering if I should buy fireworks this year or not...
where are you hearing this?
Do you mean "wuss" destruction?
That would really concern the Obama Administration. It would wipe out most of the east and west coast glitterati.
On FOX they said this group was planning to kill a police officer and then during the funeral attack more police officers.
Pure BS MSM spin here, the group was AT a funeral for a member that died of natural causes.
And the charges are now sedition, so it appears that is what Obama is hunting after, thats anyone that falls in Obamas crosshairs as being seditious against him.
Important point: “Seditious against HIM”, not against the Constitution of the United States.
Everyone remember “sin is... being out of alignment with MY values”?
Well, the hutaree website does proudly and repeatedly claim the title of ‘Christian.’ If I understand your correctly, yes, they could be a cult or nut cases, not that that would bother the power that be who want to label all Christians as dangerous anti-establishment types who want to overthrow the government. Now that I think of it, truth be told, Christians ARE dangerous to the powers that be, but not in the way they think — they can’t stop us from praying.
Sedition, eh? Very interesting.
I think they are “threatened” by the very fact that we don’t recognize them as the Ultimate Authority.
