He will try the strong pimp hand now.
I think he is mistaken more ramming down the throats is going to work. Obama-care took many months and is very unpopular despite trying to sell the nation on it.
It is a sign of desperation if you ask me, he knows he is running out of time fast with November looming. Hs power is about to be seriously diminished to get much through congress.

Obama is going for amnesty next. He needs millions of new ignorant voters to keep the Dems in power.

Note that campaign finance case came down recently. This is McCain-Feingold 2.
This is STARK evidence how McCain screwed us. They want it reinstated.

No more. Aides say that with the momentum from the most complex domestic bill to pass Congress in 45 years, Obama now will push Congress to close campaign-finance loopholes opened by the Citizens United case, adopt his overhaul of the No Child Left Behind education bill, and perhaps even tackle a clean-energy bill.
The last item (a "clean energy bill") will be nothing more than a payoff to GE on our backs. Brace for the carbon tax, guys and gals.

McCain Feingold 2. If people do not read this and understand the damage McCain has caused then they are not very bright.

Start harping big time to any one you talk to about amnesty opening the flood gates and more Americans will lose their jobs. The OBAMA DEPRESSION is going to make The Great Depression look like child’s play by comparison.

"Campaign finance loopholes" = free speech.
They consider free speech a loophole.

He goes into these into these negotiations, and into these legislative battles, with a stronger hand......and with a Presidential Approval Index rating which hovers between -21 and -16. Strong hand, indeed.

“Brace for the carbon tax”
While neither is necessary given the scientific evidence about AGW, a carbon tax would be vastly preferable to Obama’s preferred choice: cap and trade. Cap and trade is arguably equivalent to a carbon tax in terms of its aggregate adverse economic impact. But it is considerably more evil as it will add hundreds of billions a year to federal tax coffers. And as we know, progressives in Congress have an endless list of ways in which it can spend OUR money.
An even-handed administration would use these windfall revenues to reduce payroll taxes or use some mechanism to offset the higher energy costs that have to be paid by all families, particularly those with the lowest incomes. Obama may do some of this, but my bet is he would use the lion’s share to bankroll his progressive projects: with that much rolling in, he probably could bankroll universal pre-school care.

My worry is the Democrats will inflict as much damage as they can when, and if, they realize they are not going to be re-elected. Sort of like when Hussein, Saddam, not our current president, retreated from Kuwait.

Hold it...correct me if I'm wrong, but he three arms of Government are Legislative, Executive, and Judicial...where does it say that the President is Congress' boss?
If he can "direct" the congress to do his bidding, guess what...PRESTO-CHANGEO...we are now a DICTATORSHIP.
All the more reason why we need to get a Congress in place that will just say "NO" to obama. This unbridled power will have to be "checked" at some point, or, we are in Chavez country.
If you think it is bad now, then let the democrats keep control of Congress in November and you ain't seen nothin' yet.

It took you guys just five posts on this thread to correctly label this pretender. Il Douche’. Excellent.
That’s how I’ll be referring to him from here on out.
Thank you.
