How can I help?

As Obama and Pelosi assault the center-right citizenry, even folks with a casual interests politics are asking what they can do to change the course of this government.

I've got some ideas and I'm looking to join or start a group on the internet that help organize and this energy. Many of the things to be done involve a bit of internet effort, similar to FREEP THIS POLL. I'm not looking for any money -- anyone who wants to donate already knows how to do that. This will be for people who would like to give their time.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Government; Politics/Elections; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: advocate; group; vanity; volunteer
My next step is to look for FREEPER blogs & see who might already have something going.

First, though, I thought I would start by dropping this post into the fray & see if anyone can point me to something they like, or if anyone wants me to ping them on what I find. Thank you.

It is my opinion that it is too late to start something new unless you have a truck or two full of cash and/or a name that brings instant recognition.

That said, find something that appeals to your values and join/work with them.

Look around and wait for the responses to start now.

This statement makes no sense.

What are your ideas? Please share.

These relate to "an army of Davids" concept in that a whole bunch of eager people can do amazing things.

1. make and publish a list of contact information for media firms & politicians so people can more easily object or praise things.

2. make and publish a precinct map of GOP districts, and help get solid conservatives in as many places as possible.

3. connect people with video/musical/graphics/lyrics skills to create you-tube "ads" from other clips. For instance, he possibilities to high-lite broken promises seem endless.

4. for people who live in a "safe" district, design "vacation" packages to let people work for a different worthy candidate. Travel up to 100 miles or so & work for the GOP or whatever. Connect volunteers with like-minded local people to make friends & get better election results.

5. I wish the movie industry were more interested in conservative causes. Instead, the internet could let conservatives consider indie scripts that match our values and, for things that many people like, offer a change to either invest or buy tickets in advance -- to find the development.

etc

It's THEIR economy, [stupid]. Collapse it. Their useful idiots only understand pocketbook issues. Eliminate/curb ALL non-critical spending...at least until we see the results of the November elections.

Spend less. Protest more. (I haven't had this much money on hand in a long time)

Find people with the capabilities of creating YouTubes for the campaigns against the 219 that attacked We The People last week by voting for the DeathCare.

There are hours and hours of video from the Townhall Meetings showing these vermin’s arrogance and disrespect for their Constituents. There is C-Span video of these Elitists in action that can be used against them as well.

Check this out as an example:

Exactly, there are many things folks can do from their keyboards.

Here's one way to help: support Ed Lynch. He is running in a special election Florida 19 to fill the seat Wexler ran away from because Lynch sued him in federal court to make him PROVE he lives in Florida which he does not. Now Lynch is running against Wexler's handpicked liberal puke. Lynch is a fierce enemy of Obamnacare and was the first one I heard who had read the whole House healthcare bill. This special election is the House equivalent of Scott Brown's campaign. It is a

NATIONAL REFERENDUM ON OBAMCARE

Help Lynch send our message. Talk is cheap wringing hands get us nowhere. Go to www.electlynch.com.

Ed Lynch looks like a great candidate. www.electlynch.com is a good site with good videos. I hope the GOP is making the calls & getting volunteers to drive folks to the polls. I’ve read that lawn signs do influence people — do you have one posted?

I’d think that people from just outside the district could be recruited to help on election day. What zip codes are pertty close?
