What gets me is the blatant lying denial of what’s actually in the law.
They think they’re going to get away with it when we can easily pull up the actual text of the law.
In an unrelated story, Whoopie Goldgerg declares Target stores dangerous and inflamatory.
That’s a reasoned come-back. That patina of support you mention isn’t limited to her either.
O’Reilly and others do it too. And there were plenty of Republicans apologizing for what hadn’t taken place the other day. It’s demoralizing to see them assume that it did take place.
It’s that patina of support premise, that leads me to dislike Bill Crystal and other media darlings adored by the left, for this very reason. They diffuse solid Conservative thought, so much so that the concise Conservative voice has disappeared from the talking head shows.
If Hassleback is to be taken to task, your method of doing it is much more reasoned than addressing this one issue. If she misses the mark consistently, then it’s not a good idea for her to sit there. Still, you know damn well they won’t put a fully capable voice on that program. They couldn’t deal with it.
