It’s amazing, isn’t it? Especially since JD Hayworth supported McCain for almost a decade.

one that would have a good relationship with President Palin.ya think?
what happens when mccain and palin don't agree? the "maverick" could cause potential problems in the senate with cap & trade as well as amnesty. remember, this is the same john mccain that considered a move over to the democrat party. palin's endorsement of lil johnny casts a rather troubling shadow.

You have to remember the GOP is still the RINO party ..Like Rush says we have to take it back..it was the Rino party when Reagan was president...it was the Conservative southern Democrats that helped him the most..Robert Dole and the crew were against tax cuts..

I don’t really like that she has done this, but IMO she is caught between a rock and a hard place. What else can she really do? If she campaigns against him, that makes her look bad to some. If she campaigns for him, she’ll look bad to some. I think her best move would have been just to stay out of it all together, but it was her decision and I’m sure she feels like she is obligated to do this.

Means nothing. JD hasn't endorsed Juan since Juan became Senator Amnesty in 2007 and 2007. In fact, JD decided to challenge Juan for his senate seat.

Do you think once this day is gone they’ll lay off the McCain/Palin thingy that gets their tails in a knot? It would be nice to have this issue out of the way and move on...obviously some have not come to terms even yet as this thread reveals.

Last I heard JD’s coffers aren’t doing too well and the tea party people in Arizona are not supporting anyone in the Arizona primaries.

If McCain wins, Conservatives are going to lay that win at Sarah’s feet and justifiably so. If he loses, it “proves” that she isn’t the political force as touted. She cannot win in this situation.
It also raises doubts about anyone she endorses.
Not good for her at all, imo.

McCain voted for TARP, supports cap and trade (McCain-Lieberman), amnesty (McCain-Kennedy), restrictions on political free speech (McCain-Feingold), the closure of Gitmo and abolishing enhanced interrogation techniques. He opposes drilling in ANWR. He was part of the gang of 14 that helped perpetuate the Dems unprecedent filibusters of judicial nominees. He was one of two Rep senators to vote against the Bush tax cuts. And he was part of the Keating five.
If you support a candidate like McCain, how can you describe yourself as a conservative?

Like I said, I do NOT support John McCain, I only supported him in 2008 because he was the only choice, it was either him or Obama. I want McCain to lose BADLY!!! I already sent a donation to JD Hayworth..I don’t live in Arizona so my vote does not matter, I’m hoping they kick McCain to the curb

Cindy McCain was spitting daggers at her with her eyes. I’ve never seen such a sourpuss. During the election, she was all “sweetness and light”. Now she looks more like the First Cow.

McCain didn’t give us Palin. She was a bright star in the Rep firmament. She would have gained national attention regardless. The sad truth is that her association with McCain, past and present, may have killed her future chances. The fact is that Palin owes McCain nothing. It is the other way around. He would never have received as many votes as he did without her.

Eventhough it looks like JD isn’t doing well raising money you have to remember Scott Brown didn’t raise the bulk of his money till the last few weeks of the election. JD will be fine if this race continues to remain close.
