Conventional wisdom on the right and left has been that President Obama and the Democrats will pay a heavy price in the November mid-term elections for passing the deeply unpopular health care reform bill. But Fox Business Network's Charlie Gasparino isn't so sure.
Gasparino appeared on the network's "Imus in the Morning" on March 25. "They can all get even in November then," Imus said of conservatives and Republicans. But Gasparino pointed out the indispensable weapon liberals have their side: the "cheerleading" news media. "You know, listen - there's not a lot of good reporting on this stuff, and that's the scary thing," Gasparino said. "Someone should Google or do a LexisNexis on how many times the media positively portrays the savings of this - $138 billion over ten years. To me? This sounds like Enron to me - you really have to believe in a lot of assumptions, and the chicanery of the White House."
Furthermore, Gasparino said even if the numbers were true? In no way, shape, or form did $13 billion in annual savings justify "blowing up" the entire economy:

We all know it, the biggest problem we have in this country is the liberal media.
I’ve been chaistized here for saying that Americans will be misled by the cheering media, and the Dem losses in November will be minor.

If the MSM was in charge, the public would support the healthcare bill and the ‘bama’s approval rating would be at 80%. All they’ve succeeded in doing is popularizing Fox News.

HOW PAYOFFS MIGHT BE FACILITATED---OBAMA SLUSH FUNDS TO DATE:
(a) 80% of the trillion dollar stim is unspent and under Obama's control to finance endangered Dems 2010-12.
(b) June 9, 2009 Obama announced, "Several financial institutions are set to pay back $68B to taxpayers." Taxpayers assumed that would be returned to the general funds from whence it had come .......in order to pay down the debt. The truth, however, is that the money returned is finding new life as part of what amounts to a Treasury Dept-controlled slush fund....to finance candidates.
(3)Healthcare---the first four years of ObamaCare is to amass $$billions. Period. Healthcare does not kick in til 2014.

CASE IN POINT "Return on investment in public office" was the name of DemJon Corzine's game. : He bought two public offices for $125 million of his own money (US Sen, and NJ gov) but Jon Corzine (ex-head of Goldman Sachs) had already registered three corporations with the supersecret Delaware Div of Corp.
OBAMA-BIDEN COME TO NJ Obama hid $17.5 billion stim in NJ---investigative news reports say it simply disappeared---no jobs were created. Delaware's Joe Biden visited New Jersey several times, ostensibly to campaign for Corzine. Democrat Corzine lost but they still have the stim billions as a consolation prize somewhere in Delaware (/snic).
Unfortunately, I agree with Charlie. The dems also have alot of ‘patronage’ plays they’re saving for Nov. How do you think FDR got elected? The truth about what he did to the economy never was reported.

I agree that that is a very real danger. The con job belonged to Obama and the overlords in Congress. The sales — or snow — job is in the hands of the media. They’ve spent decades perfecting their technique and even though their influence is waning, they are still shapers of public perception.
The conservative media will have to work overtime to counter the upcoming flood of lies, distortions, and subtle propaganda.
Dems won’t pay this November. Conservative talk radio amd Tea Parties are being portrayed (once again) as enemies of the republic. The electorate has a very short memory They Kool Aid induced Obamacare euphoria isn’t going to wear off until they start footing the bills for it.

Both high unemployment and high deficits are a given, not just for this year, but through 2012. But more importantly, anger against 0bamcare just keeps getting even stronger, even after 0bamcare was passed. Nothing is going to save the Democrats. They are screwed.

Americans have the attention span of a gnat. The media will be filled with a constant barrage of positive stories about Obamacare.
The landscape will be quite different in November.

You are very wrong. If we didn't have this very, very, very liberal bias media we wouldn't have the democratic party any more or at least we wouldn't have these democratic leaders in there.
