After Democratic lawmakers were targeted by death threats and vandalism, House Democrats met with members of the Capitol Police today to discuss security concerns.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip James Clyburn held a press conference this afternoon on Capitol Hill, saying members had raised concerns and that Capitol Police told them to address any suspicious activity around the Capitol.
"Any member who feels themselves at risk is getting attention from the proper authorities," Hoyer said. At least 10 Democratic lawmakers have complained of threats or other security concerns.

I don’t think violence or the threat of violence is the way to opppose this karp. Now, of course, if any of us are, e.g., fired upon without provacation, that is a different matter. We have non-violent means at our disposal; I would rather we try those first.
The so-called “Tea Party” is useless crap at this point, anyway. Hijacked by the GOP, this ship is going down, guaranteed.

And for the record, I don’t support violence either - until it is required by circumstances.
If they think this is bad, think about how bad it would have been for them if they had voted NO. We’ve seen that liberals who are unhappy with government tend to shoot people or fly planes into buildings.
True. They (pelosi and the other creatures) wanted to pass this bill to show us that we are completely and utterly powerless : That they can do whatever they want to us, and we can do NOTHING-except vote, but if our elected officials are ignoring us, then what good does voting do? And then the continual insults : The march through the crowd of protesters instead of taking the tunnel, and accusing protesters of using “epithets” when they no longer feel the least compunction to hide their contempt for us (I’m thinking of remarks the Frank thing has made not just at the protesters, but at town halls)....What do they think it would lead to? I’ve seen some suggest that they WANT violence, as an excuse to declare martial law....Let’s hope that the AGs can prevail, and that the state health care freedom acts aren’t dead letters, because I can see two VERY angry groups : People who believe they are being robbed of everything, including freedom, and people who are mad at THOSE people, because they want lots of freebies and they want them RIGHT NOW.

The left won’t have to manufacture these death threat stories for long. A majority is against the bill and most people don’t even know what’s in it! Just wait til your average joe finds out. Just wait til more people start bleeding money and creature comforts to pay for this. Worst of all, look out when people watch helplessly as the health of their loved ones is rationed away. These days will look like bliss.
