After Democratic lawmakers were targeted by death threats and vandalism, House Democrats met with members of the Capitol Police today to discuss security concerns.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip James Clyburn held a press conference this afternoon on Capitol Hill, saying members had raised concerns and that Capitol Police told them to address any suspicious activity around the Capitol.
"Any member who feels themselves at risk is getting attention from the proper authorities," Hoyer said. At least 10 Democratic lawmakers have complained of threats or other security concerns.

They don't need an excuse. They will do what totalitarians do. They will trump up something and act.
I agree that this all seems staged. However, I am totally against the use of violence in this scenario because it will lead to something worse than we have now. Any assassination will, arguably, lead to mass chaos or at least a chain reaction of further violence. The outcome of these situations usually tends to be the emergence of a try tyrant or dictator.
I just started a thread where a local Miami tv affiliate BEGAN their evening newscast with this story.
Blowing it up into a BIG DEAL...like the tea partiers are to blame. Ugh.

I’m so sorry, but Obama’s people have to shut down the oppostion and silence them all, not matter what any of us do or say. To consolidate their power and control, it must be done. It is only a matter of when.
Rush Limbaugh has known it since November 2008, and I believe he has made arrangements to continue broadcasting even if no longer in the U.S.A. As for the other Conservative voices in the Media - I imagine they just might be willing to put up with whatever the Marxist’s throw at them.
I bet half or more of the so-called threats come from Dems who think 0bama needs sympathy for his failing Presidency.

True, this is a total set-up - just like kristallnacht; this time it’s against conservatives/tea-partiers.
