Obama Signs Pro-Abortion Health Care Bill, Ignores Executive Order

Washington, DC -- President Barack Obama signed the pro-abortion government-run health care bill into law today but did not sign an executive order that would supposedly nullify the abortion funding. Leading pro-life and pro-abortion groups are in rare agreement as they say the order is virtually meaningless.

It seems he was pretty quick to sign one that allowed the federal funding of abortions in other countries.

"President Barack Obama rescinded the Mexico City Policy on January 23, 2009"

I guess some things can wait and others are much more pressing.

Santorum alienated people. And in a heavily Democratic state like Pennsylvania, that’s just not a good idea. Of course, now we’re stuck with Casey and that other idiot, Specter as our Senators, plus in my district, I have a dimbulb Democrat congressman. A small ray of hope is that the Republicans may have a chance to take back the governor’s mansion this time around. Fast Eddie Rendell can’t run again thanks to term limits, and I don’t think the Dems can run anyone that high caliber, unless SEIU and ACORN can round up some dead voters. Tom Corbett, the Republican attorney general (who by the way is starting his own litigation against the health care bill), is rather well liked, and I think he’ll be a successful gubernatorial candidate. Just hoping he doesn’t turn RINO like our past Republican governors.

Oh and by the way, Casey has been tounted as a conservative anti-abortion democrat. That he would be ok with the abortion aspect of this monstrosity makes that a lie too.

You’re right, it was a whopping $726K for MAINTANENCE on three airports.

Mary Landrieu got $300 MILLION, Ben Nelson got $100 MILLION and Stupak sold his soul for some janitorial work.

I will not 'purchase' their stupid plan.

I will not pay any 'fines' levied against me for not doing so.

I will not appear in any Court in the land for refusing to pay fines or refusing 'mandatory purchases'.

If anyone attempts to force me into a Court I'll resist forcibly.

Clear enough?

Obama didn’t set Stupak up one bit....
Stupak was always going to sign...
this ordeal was just politcal theater and both Bo and Stupak played their parts.

It is “we” who were set up.......and we took the bait.

Didnt Stupak lose-lose in the end ? Who is left as his friend? Seems like he burned himself.

I wouldnt say freepers ‘trusted’ him. I would say they were hopeful given his aggressive statements. Trusting anyone elected to Washington DC is like that “a sucker born any minute” saying. Politics and power guide them all to one degree or another.
