Santorum alienated people. And in a heavily Democratic state like Pennsylvania, that’s just not a good idea. Of course, now we’re stuck with Casey and that other idiot, Specter as our Senators, plus in my district, I have a dimbulb Democrat congressman. A small ray of hope is that the Republicans may have a chance to take back the governor’s mansion this time around. Fast Eddie Rendell can’t run again thanks to term limits, and I don’t think the Dems can run anyone that high caliber, unless SEIU and ACORN can round up some dead voters. Tom Corbett, the Republican attorney general (who by the way is starting his own litigation against the health care bill), is rather well liked, and I think he’ll be a successful gubernatorial candidate. Just hoping he doesn’t turn RINO like our past Republican governors.
