I'm the victim of a hate crime, Ann Coulter tells Canadian audience

Controversial columnist and author Anne Coulter speaks at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, on Monday, March 22, 2010
LONDON, Ont. -- Inflammatory right-wing pundit Ann Coulter took aim at a University of Ottawa administrator on Monday, saying an email from the school warning her to use "restraint, respect and consideration" when addressing Ontario students during a speaking tour this week made her a victim of a "hate crime."
Speaking to students and academics at the University of Western Ontario on Monday night, Ms. Coulter said the email sent to her on Friday by François Houle, vice-president academic and provost of the University of Ottawa, targeted her as a member of an identifiable group and as such, she will be filing a complaint with the Human Rights Commission alleging hate speech.
"I'm sure the Human Rights Commission will get to the bottom of it," Ms. Coulter said to loud cheers from the 800-strong audience. "I think I'm the victim of a hate crime here. Either what [Mr. Houle] did was a hate crime, or the whole commission is B.S."
In Mr. Houle's email, a copy of which was obtained by the National Post, the administrator urges Ms. Coulter to weigh her words with "respect and civility in mind" when she speaks at the University of Ottawa campus on Tuesday.

“LONDON, Ont. — Inflammatory right-wing pundit Ann Coulter...”
Despite their efforts to besmirch her character by using such language, and posting an unflattering photo, Ms. Coulter steals their fire. Her weapon: words, wit, and intellect. You gotta love this woman.
Touche’, Ms. Coulter.

If you can stomach it, read Francois Houle’s letter to Ann. A more noxious bit of liberal sanctimony you’ll have a hard time finding.

Canada vs. Coulter
Coulter spanks Canada using their own rules.
Canada - FAIL!
Coulter - VICTORY!
To: SmokingJoe
She "speaks truth to power," and that makes her "inflammatory?"
If only we had more people with her guts and communication skills in Congress...
To: Travis McGee; All
She certainly is tough!
When a big burly leftist journalist was gobsmacked by her some time ago, she mentioned that he was afraid of a 100 pound blond girl. LOL

Coulter slams gays, Muslims in Ontario visit
Stirs controversy during visit to Ontario university
By QMI Agency
LONDON, Ont. -- A 17-year-old Muslim student sparked the testiest exchange and the loudest cheers and jeers at a speech by controversial U.S. conservative Ann Coulter at the University of Western Ontario Monday.
After a wide-ranging speech attacking gay rights activists, the mainstream media and the Barack Obama administration, Coulter took questions from an audience clearly divided in its support for her style of attack conservatism.
Fatima Al-Dhaher, a political science student from London, rose and spoke about comments Coulter made after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
The firebrand Republican had suggested Muslim countries be invaded, their leaders killed and all Muslims converted to Christianity. She later suggested Muslims denied air travel take flying carpets instead.
As a 17-year-old student of this university, Muslim, should I be converted to Christianity? Second of all, since I dont have a magic carpet, what other modes do you suggest, Al-Dhaher said to loud and sustained applause.
I thought it was just American public schools that produced ignorant people, Coulter replied, prompting her own round of applause.
Coulter then noted many Japanese were converted to Christianity after the Second World War and we havent heard a peep out of them.
To shouts of Answer the question, Coulter finally replied What mode of transportation? Take a camel.
Ann Coulter received both cheers and jeers while speaking at the University of Western Ontario on Monday. (MIKE HENSEN/QMI Agency)

And she does it simply by making a lot of people laugh at lefty intolerance — which is the best possible way to drive them absolutely, foaming-at-the-mouth crazy, because if there’s one thing that lefties DON’T have, it’s a sense of humor,

Pretty much.
She is too damn smart for the Canadian libtards to handle.

Even her unflattering photos are better than most people's flattering ones.

Great quote:
Feminists blame the Conservatives for an array of ills, but turned suddenly silent when former U.S. president Bill Clinton had sex with an intern, she said.
Political correctness has nothing to do with offending people or not offending people. It is purely about power, she said.

The powers that be could invite Bill Maher to speak. Fair and balanced as they would think he is. Others then might learn what "hate" is. Added to that, dear Bill, would never, never be threatened by letter- or get rumblings from the Human Rights people.
Ann Coulter is just simply Ann. Glad the audience has been described as "predominantly supporters of Ann Coulter". Now there was a university professor(born Egypt 1943) in Southern Ontario, who supported killing of civilian Israeli citizens if over eighteen years. Terrorist acts presumably.
He got away with it.

Yep, the double standard is getting clearer and clearer all the time

Dang, if it wouldn't be outlandish, Coulter may not be interested!
Don't mess with Annie... Canada doesn't want to do that...
If these facists try to arrest her we can get her a cake with a file baked into it...
