On Fox news this afternoon, they said that over 30 state AGs were going to have a conference call to decide how to file against the health care bill. Does anyone know how or if it went?
I don’t know but I just sent a nasty email to Doug Gansler the AG of Maryland calling him spineless if he does not fight it.
Yes. It was on Facebook... can’t find the link just now. Said they were going to file a multi-state lawsuit as soon as Zerobama signs.
Does anyone know which AG’s are fighting this? Rob McKenna is a decent conservative, but WA is SO liberal.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott: Just got off the AG conference call. We agreed that a multi-state lawsuit would send the strongest signal. We plan to file the moment Obama signs the bill. I anticipate him signing it tomorrow. Check back for an update at that time. I will post a link to the lawsuit when it is filed. It will lay out why the bill is unconstitutional and tramples individual and states rights.
Attorney General of Florida promises to have a lawsuit filed within one hour of the Presidents signing of this bill. He also said that Arizonas governor will be joining the suit, since that states AG is a Dem and refuse to look into litigation. Virginia and Idaho have already passed state laws nullifying this bill. Im sure many states will be joining this suit.

Just sent my email to our governor and asked him for a reply, we’ll see what happens.
North carolina ?
I’m not sure where we can go to find out who joined the phone call.
Anyone know if a consolidated case can be fast tracked to SCOTUS?
Anyone know if the entire bill can be thrown out like stinking MCCAIN-Feingold?
I don’t know...but I do agree with the AG that a massive amount of States filling against this will cause raised eyebrows and judges considering this to be too important to lay off.
I can tell you right now this bill will kill Florida. Between medicare cuts and the restrictions put on small construction contractors, our unemployment is going to jump massively.
I’m sure our AG is going to fight this bigtime.
