As part of today's rally to stop the Democrats' health care reform legislation thousands of protesters descended on the lawn of Capitol building. But many more were also using the occasion to visit the their congressional representative and tell them what they think of the bill.
However, Capitol Police recently stopped allowing any of the peaceful protesters to enter into congressional buildings. Crowds are now gathering in front of the House and Senate offices, demanding that they be let in to air their constituent concerns.
Yeah, right, and there will always be resistence to this nonsense!

Nice sized crowd, though, judging by the pictures. I hope our voices are heard somehow!

It's blatant propaganda reporting so the peasants "think" it's just minor stuff, nothing to get all "we-weed up abput".
What we need is a national Strike.. No One goes to work... Announce it in advance..
Going to Washington is OK ..
and necessary, but for us, either too far away or with out the where with all to get there..we cant show a united face ....
but a day out of work we can do .. just about everybody has sick days which they could use ....you know that Flu stuff IS going around..
Our elected politicians don’t want to talk to us lowly citizens. They are after all, “above us” and above the fray. Elitist who know what is good for everyone else.

Finally, as predicted, as expected, the Obama Adminitration and the Democrat Party have ordered the new Gestapo (Capital Police) to prevent American citizens in peaceful protest from seeing and talking with their President and congress representatives. My husband and daughter were there. Crowds estimated at 25k at the Michelle Bachmann/Jon Voight rally.
(My poor DH is out getting his CCW today-he has to shoot outside today to get the license (15 out of 20 minimum) while the snow is coming down and piling up . It's practically a white out here-and his nephew's store (a new Menard's) is having their grand opening today. Just lovely!)
