As part of today's rally to stop the Democrats' health care reform legislation thousands of protesters descended on the lawn of Capitol building. But many more were also using the occasion to visit the their congressional representative and tell them what they think of the bill.
However, Capitol Police recently stopped allowing any of the peaceful protesters to enter into congressional buildings. Crowds are now gathering in front of the House and Senate offices, demanding that they be let in to air their constituent concerns.
This really pisses me off.
This should be major breaking news on every channel.

Damn straight...those are OUR buildings. The Capitol Police are stopping the people from exercising their right(s) under the First Amendment. Step aside, boys...
Think about it: the Socialists/Liberal Elite fear the military for ONE reason; they abide by Duty, Honor, Country, and hold dear the traditional Constitutional Freedoms that they are hell-bent on destroying. I feel that dis-arming/neutering the Military is part of the Plan to assure no threat when people finally resolve to take back their Country.
I expect bunkers and machine gun emplacements around federal buildings any day now.
Google “communist manifesto”... and all the softening up points are currently checked off their list...another is “the ten point trasition to communism” for America...these will show they are accomplishing their agenda.

Hi swampsniper...nah..I don’t think that will come anytime soon...because the states are next to fight this and have already begun...then the people can flood washington that way I suspect...but the states have to be given the opportunity to fight for us. Govenors matter now.
Yes! And one needs to rethink Ahmadej...he’s also a commie thug. Why did CNN call his election early when the votes weren’t even counted. THey said it was “decisive” and by a “wide margin” - there were bags of votes still to be counted. The Iranian were shocked and took to the streets and were met by thugs - there was a blood bath. It’s a global revolution.
If dissent is the height of patriotism, it’s about time that the majority of America, those of us that do NOT want a socialist nation, got patriotic as all hell!

What happened to it?
I was a teenager during the late 60’s and remember well the tactics that were employed by the anti-war hippies. Their point was to be “peaceful” but “disruptive.” They chained themselves to fences, flagpoles, and anything else that would get them noticed. Also, there were sit-ins, lie-ins, hunger strikes, flag-pole sitting, and other types of stunts. The lie-ins seemed to be really effective, because they could shut down sidewalks and streets. People couldn’t get from one place to another because of the bodies, and they refused to move. For example, if someone was trying to walk down the street and a person was lying down in the way, you’d have to step over them to keep going. If all 25,000 people there on the lawn just sat down or lay down where they were, it would cause massive traffic jams and would be a real photo op. It would definitely fit the qualifications of a “peaceful” yet “disruputive” protest (sort of a passive-agressive statement).
It’s only a matter of time before a situation like this becomes “hot”. I don’t think We The People have unlimited patience with being completely disenfranchised and treated like peasants.
Furthermore, I think this is exactly what the Federales want - they are trying to PROVOKE a response from the citizenry as a pretext for imposing martial law, civilian disarmament, and suspension of elections based on a “domestic terrorism national emergency”.
A year ago I would have considered that scenario the epitome of tinfoil paranoia. Now, I consider it inevitable.
She is violating the constitutional rights of the American people. Period.
