Two pro-life GOP members close to Stupak tell NRO that any Stupak deals are off. They just spoke with him and they said he's finished with Pelosi. They rejected his enrollment corrections proposal.
Will this mean his block of votes will be NO?

I am pinning my hopes on those AGs, and the 37 states which have passed or have bills pending to protect their citizens from obamacare. Normally , federal law trumps state, despite the clear language of the 10th . If it were only 5-10 states , I’d say those bills were pointless. But when a clear majority of the states are fighting against obamacare? That changes everything IMO.

I don’t know law either. But it seems as if there should be something that addresses misrepresentation of what one is voting for. When the House voted on the bill and sent it to the Senate, it was under the assumption or belief that the bill would come back to them. Surely they voted with this in mind. This means their decisions were made under false premises. This would be like playing a game involving strategy and having the rules change along the way. In any case, Stupak and the like should not have voted for the bill in the first place and we would have been spared all of this mess.
