The project, which is tentatively titled Sarah Palins Alaska. Palin is asking for $1 million to $1.5 million per episode.
Sarah Palin is following a trajectory more Kardashian than politician, demanding a big paycheck in her quest for reality-TV stardom. After shopping her TV docudrama to major broadcast and cable networks, two channels A&E and Discovery have expressed interest in the project, which is tentatively titled Sarah Palins Alaska. Palin is asking for $1 million to $1.5 million per episode, considered a hefty amount for a first-year cable series. The show executive-produced by reality-television guru Marc Burnett will feature the former governor touring her home state, completing activities such as visiting fishing boats or trekking to a gold mine. There had better be a caribou-hunting episode or else this really has no business calling itself a Sarah Palin Alaska show.
Why not? Seinfeld and others asked for and got more than that! She probably should be asking for $3 million per episode, IMO.
And if she asked for less, they would be hitting her with a cheap prostitute label. I think based on the abuse these libtards throw at her 5 Million per episode with a 20 episode pay guarantee would be quite reasonable.
I heard Sarah's foreign policy, it is the same one RR had, "WE WIN, THEY LOSE".
Yeah... if she does reality tv you can bet she’s given up on being president. And for 1 million per episode... she’ll be doing bikini poses.
Considering the major draw she’ll get with people who actually HAVE jobs and worth the advertisers time, it’s probably going rate. Not to mention the ratings increase the network will get to brag about.
The Left keeps calling this proposal a “reality” show, as they continue to slam Sarah. It is only a documentary about Alaska, similar to many other programs that have appeared on Discovery, A&E and other cable channels.
The constant battering of Sarah Palin by the left is really tiresome. What are they afraid of????????

ABS-O-LUTE-LY!
i’m in full agreement with you — she is cashing in; playing her fame for every nickel.
but for Republican’s concerns, she’s cashing OUT.
Oh yeah... Marc Burnett is known for producing documentaries
I think she’s worried about what Obama has planned for this country and wants to provide for her family as much as possible in whatever limited time she has available.
She should ask for 5 million an episode. Never undersell yourself before you get a job.

i can’t see it any other way. she’s made her evaluation/calculation and this demonstrates what it was: no sarah for pres, except to flirt with the possibility for money.
perhaps she’ll tour with ozzie!
Some of us for some time have been saying Palin has no political office intentions after resigning and is going for the gold (no problem with that) and have been ridiculed as Palin haters.

and from our [formerly] best friends who have ended their friendship because we spoke the tooth!
Talking about Sarah Palin is kinda like talking about Ann Colter around here. You gotta be careful not to step on anyone’s dreams.
How dare you make sense.
That's exactly right.. and since she's a strong believer in the free market, the fee is simply acknowledging reality, something the libs never seem to accept.
1m is reasonable for a hit show which it would be and is needed to cover show related activities and renovations.
That’s right. It’s the way business works. If Sarah’s show is worth the price, the network will pay up; if not, they won’t. The press made her popularity soar in the first place - apparently they didn’t think of this positive unintended consequence.
That's why you have "people"........I never worked for one plant manager who knew how to rewire a control panel or operate a hi-lo........
