The project, which is tentatively titled Sarah Palin’s Alaska. Palin is asking for $1 million to $1.5 million per episode.

Why not? Seinfeld and others asked for and got more than that! She probably should be asking for $3 million per episode, IMO.

ABS-O-LUTE-LY!

i’m in full agreement with you — she is cashing in; playing her fame for every nickel.

but for Republican’s concerns, she’s cashing OUT.

You were saying ...

but for Republican’s concerns, she’s cashing OUT.

On the contrary... she's expanding her base of average Americans who will see her as someone they can definitely identify with and they'll want someone like that in the White House, and not some of these liberal-lefties that inhabit "Washington" now... doncha know... :-)

The 1-1.5 million dollar per episode price may not be realistic. She is targeting cable channels and they have a much smaller budget than NBC or CBS.

I think her show will definitely get a budget on the higher end of the cable tv pay scale, but it will be nowhere near Seinfeld.
