The project, which is tentatively titled Sarah Palin’s Alaska. Palin is asking for $1 million to $1.5 million per episode.

Why not? Seinfeld and others asked for and got more than that! She probably should be asking for $3 million per episode, IMO.

ABS-O-LUTE-LY!

i’m in full agreement with you — she is cashing in; playing her fame for every nickel.

but for Republican’s concerns, she’s cashing OUT.

Heck, why not ask $20 million? Since you're shooting for more than it's worth then shoot big.

Didn’t everyone of the lamebrains on Friends demand a million dollars each for each episode?

Yes, I remember back in the early '90s, the entire cast of Seinfeld asking for $1MM per episode because of the show's popularity. Who doesn't know that after nearly 20 years, TV salaries are pretty near those numbers for regular participants.

Every time she shows her face on TV, ratings go through the roof and it's not the Super Bowl. What do you think the network will be charging advertisers to sponsor Palin's show? The first commercial break will pay her salary. This is another stupid non-issue, generated by the media.
