"What do you say to the unemployed 22 yr old Electrician’s Assistant who graduated from HS but can’t get a job because of the recession and can’t afford healthcare?"

He shouldn't have voted for The Obammunist.

What does a 22 year old need health insurance for? Catastrophes, if he cares. That’s pretty cheap. You could get a job at McD’s, live with mom and dad, and pay for it.

Insurance is a design to collect money from the many to help the few.

Your statement:

“What does a 22 year old need health insurance for? Catastrophes, if he cares. That’s pretty cheap. You could get a job at McD’s, live with mom and dad, and pay for it.”

illustrates your ignorance.

My ignorance? Dude, I own my own businesses. I buy my own health insurance. It’s for catastrophes. I’m a healthy, single young man. I don’t have a history of drug use/abuse or disease. It’s cheap.

Nice straw man.

Isn’t there a provision where everyone pays the same?

Typically, men use health insurance less than women, the young use health insurance less than the old. Because of these facts, the cost for women and the old is higher than for men and the young.

But the Obamacare plan removes the ability of health insurance companies to discriminate based on the likelihood that someone would actually use the services.

I could be wrong, but that’s my understanding of it.

“I’m a healthy, single young man.”

Well, Dude, you sound like a single young RINO to me. Argumentative, not supportive of conservative ideas, a nay-sayer when it comes to the wisdom of opposition to the tyrants-in-waiting, and in general, a twit.

Well, you need to fund your sex-change operations, your face lifts, your psychiatric sessions calming your end of the world worries, your abortion choice, your tooth whitening choice, your viagra, your un-sex change... etc.

My take is that there are enough liberals in the insurance business they will have work under BamBamKennedy whether or not he nationalizes them or not. And under BamKennedy insurance plan it will be the ‘law’ that people are required to purchase it regardless of what employers do. And what a relief to have government deal with insurance instead of a private business.

Somebody is going to have to sell BamKennedy Insurance flavors and fill out and file the paperwork. Looks like a ‘jobs’ bill to me. s/

"But the Obamacare plan removes the ability of health insurance companies to discriminate based on the likelihood that someone would actually use the services."

But the Obamacare plan eventually removes insurance companies.

The Obammunist and his cadre of socialists are nationalizing medicine.

Included in the bill, they are also nationalizing student loans, ie. higher education.

Euphemisms are out. Individual items in the bill are out (like abortion).

This is Communism.

The way health care works now is fine. No to Obamacare and I’m against young healthy men leaving.

http://www.i2i.org/main/article.php?article_id=1848
In 2008, the National Center for Health Statistics reported that women made 437 health care visits per 100 women aged 45-54. At the same time, men made just 328 visits per 100 men aged 45-54. For those aged 18-44, there were 377 visits per 100 women and 203 visits per 100 men.

Men ages 18-44 use less than half the healthcare of women ages 45-54. They should pay less than half. That’s the way it is now.

I’m trying to find the details about Obamacare and age and sex discrimination.

You seem to have reading comprehension problems. I have absolutely no idea what conservative "principles" you're supposedly supporting with a straw man sob story about some dude who has plenty of options to acquire health insurance on the open market.

You sound like an old biddy to me.

This bill is just the path to single payer. Obama wants the middle class to pay more so they will support the complete government takeover.

I AGREE. My comment about young healthy men leaving was about, IF ObamaCare passes and they are screwed, the young healthy men saying "screw your Obamacare system, I'm going to X to find a hot native girl and watch your commie USSA collapse from afar".

His people will be insured.
You working people will pay.
His people are owed reparations, this is part of it.
Get it.

The entire society is pois[o]ned.

Thanks very much. These five words describe our situation better than any entire essay I've read in a long time.

Then “he” doesn’t get it. I refuse to play. And hopefully, enough others will refuse, too, until this whole rotten scheme is starved before our eyes.
