You’ve touched on one thing that I haven’t actually heard any of the pundits or talking heads discussing (outside of the election slaughter that is coming).

How are any of these people going to behave in the aftermath of this fiasco? Do they think that “Well, I got what I wanted so now we can bury the hatchet”? Do they think that this is the end of it?

I don’t normally rub elbows with any of these folks but our paths have crossed from time to time and I’m here to tell ya that I will make my eternal displeasure with these traitors clear and unmistakable.

Nobody is going to impeach TheFirstBlackPresident™.

Sorry, but Bill Clinton was impeached — just not removed from office.

How about you try a little respect. You have no idea who I am. I believe Obama should be tried for treason. We need an a man like Eisenhower here again. He knew what was going on and how to deal with the enemy.

A congress full of Democrats unwilling to vote on the Senate bill as required by the constitution. It’s their funeral.

I realize that..I am just so royally ticked off that the article quite apart from the author, allowed me to vent..
I do have to tell you , however, when I was in Iceland before and again after the election of this Trojan Horse, the Icelanders all thought 0bama was an inch away from canonization. And do many in the UK thought likewise save the few who have their eyes open..and our own dumb public still does not get it ( those who are still groupies for the Dear Leader)

No one ever said you had to be smart to get elected to Congress.

All those Democrats who are voting YES for this theft of basic American liberties are foolish ideologues and blackened traitors, drunk on the illusion of their party's indomitable power.

I'm sure that many of them believe that they'll become part of some new super-elite, and will never have to face the music for what they're about to do, but they are as wrong as wrong can be.

Should this thing pass, these Democrats are going to be come the most hated pariahs in the country, and will be hounded from here to eternity for their treason.

As much as we might wish for impeachment, there is no possibility of impeaching Obama with an overwhelmingly socialist Senate and House.

We have to first deal with the fact that the american public fell for the biggest campaign fraud in the nation’s history.

Stupid hurts and stupid is expensive.

We ( not most readers here, but the american public as a whole) have been abysmally stupid.

When and if “we” realize our stupidity, perhaps we can begin to clean up the mess we have made of the opportunity our founding fathers tried to provide us.

Thanks for the link:

I did not catch the article when it came out in January 2009.

Talk about prophetic!

Isn’t it a shame we have to go to British or Canadian newspapers to get honest analysis of American politics?

Stupid hurts and stupid is expensive.

Yes, it is.

A living example of this is the Brits, who are now kicking themselves for willingly giving up their guns to their government back in the '90s. They're now enduring the highest violent crime rate in Europe, as a result.

I've seen stories reporting on organized protests there, which are seeking to have the gun ban overturned. Hasn't happened, and probably won't happen, now that the citizens have been disarmed. Talk about stupid and expensive.

In our case, at least we've been awakened, and are fighting back - not willingly acceding to the Marxist transformation of our country.

And, we still have our guns. There's hope for us.

The contrast between the British press coverage of Obama and our own was stunning.

It was fascinating to read accouts of Obama that weren't generated by the NYT/WaPo nexus. US networks are simply filling time slots. They don't even fit the founder's definition of "press."
