TPM ^ | 3-19-10 | TPM

CNN is reporting that Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao (R-LA) is again undecided, even considering voting yes. Cao had previously said he would definitely vote against the bill, despite voting yes in November. President Obama yesterday asked him to take another look at the abortion language in the Senate bill and see if he could vote for it

Cao won because most of the people who live there now were out of town because of Hurricane Katrina during Cao’s election. but now these liberal/democrat cretins are back . new orleans is like detroit. try electing a Republican or Conservative or for any one that doesn’t vote for more government in those cities.

You know not what you speak of.

Cao will still vote No for this socialist government healthcare even though All the voters in his district will vote him out because he votes no. This is a 90-100% pdemocrat disctrict, think of downtown detroit, downtown new orleans. you won’t replace Cao with a Tom Tancredo here.

Only chance Cao had was to vote yes for this government healthcare and give those parasites that are the voters in his district more government freebies.

This guy has to go regardless of his vote. I would be willing to support a communist over him. Last time when he voted yes, Pelosi and Hoyer went hysterical on tv saying "It had bipartisan support, it had bipartisan support" because one RINO from hell voted yes. I'd rather have a commie in there so those monsters can't claim bipartisan support. After the dems shove through hellcare, they are going to shove through illegal aliens.

Elections have consequences.

Jughead had better listen carefully. Cao was once a member of the Society of Jesus.

CNBC says market is giving 0-care a 80% chance of passing. In CNBC poll of viewers, 75% oppose the bill.

Cao is a district in New Orleans that is who knows about 99% democrat and or around who knows really high around 99% welfare recipients.

Obviously YOU don't know. So maybe you should spare this forum your uninformed speculation.

Yeah I live in New Orleans so I know who is in Cao’s district. I know . any questions about new orleans just don’t have the time those welfare recipients have to look up the percentages etc. just take my word for it or any one who lives here and we know who the people are in his district and in most of the city and they are all welfare, socialist/democrat parasites. there is no difference between new orleans and detroit. and yes I KNOW Cao is voting no as I live here.

Well I live in Cao’s district too. Uptown (most of uptown is in Cao’s district — not just downtown). I am not a Democrat and I am not a welfare recipient. Nor are my other family members who also live in LA-2. So kindly calm down and stop smearing NOLA with your overly broad brush. And if you despise this city as much as you seem to do, just leave.

Well, he has to know he won’t win reelection anyway after his last Yes vote so why not go all out? Plus who knows, maybe some Repubs angered him after he voted yes before. Maybe they hurt his feelings.

Most of the people in New Orleans are welfare recipients. You really think this city has a future?

How many politicians are corrupt? is that my fault? Sure that now Democrat Micth Mary landrieu’s brother is going to be better. that whole family are Marxists. The only thing keeping this alive is the hundreds of millions they stole from the rest of the U.S. in the form of “hurricane relief”. are the roads better? no. are the levees cat 5? NO. is the coast restored? no .

but blanco and the democrats blew most of that katrina money on more charity hospitals and “education” but no coasal restoration while the Gulf the Ocean encroaches on this doomed city ever closer year by year. This city won’t be here in a few decades as the Atlantic will claim its own. I don’t think i’ve ever seen such a pit of corrupt vipers as all of these democrat politicians most of who are in jail , including the jeffersons the whole family. Yeah i’ll leave as soon as i can. why anyone would want to stay in this bed of corruption, growing number of welfare recipitients, with an encraching Ocean, sinking land, sinking city? oh yeah I’m the problem cause i point this out. no . I will try to leave as soon as i can. i have seen other places . this is the worst in the U.S.A imo and democrats have ruined it like they have detroit, California ,new york. etc.

What was the bribe????

No bribe. Somebody's got real good dirt on this p.o.s., pictures of him with little boys or whatever, and I hope the GOP comes up with the same stuff real quick so they can blow him out of the water.

plus as an estimate imo i’d say 90% of the voters in Cao’s district are welfare recipitients or at least 90% democrats who all believe in government solutions to everything as all democrats do.

So Cao voting no takes guts . Cao’s only chance was to vote yes.

What do you want to bet that Zero promised to pull the plug on any Democratic challengers and to campaign in his heavily Democratic district (D+16), ensuring him reelection?

Cao could then change his affiliation to RAT and have a perpetual job in Congress.

AP just released a story that says not so fast CNN:

Cao says he’s “pretty much a definite no.”

Not exactly a H no, but close enough I don’t see him voting for this no matter how hard CNN tries.

The funny thing is, of all the sites, Fox has the Dems closest to winning on their tally.

Cao is being true to his conservative values voting no to more government control in a district where most of his voters are welfare recipients who live for more government and more government control and more government freebies.

Cao knows his only chance for reelection is to vote yes. He did a rare thing for a politian voting in accordance with his conservatism and not for political expediency.

Cao must be commended for voting no. but instead many on this forum are just looking for a Republican to attack while not saying anything against the democrats the Democrats/marxists who are doing a socialist takeover of America.

and look who wrote this fake story CNN.

He’s in one of the most pro-Obama districts in LA; if he hadn’t have gone, wouldn’t the DNC use this against him in the next election (not willing to discuss issues, etc.)? He has a 100% pro-life rating and is reportedly a devout Catholic.

You really think this city has a future?

Not really. I also don't think the United States has a future. Or Western civilization, for that matter. So I might as well wait for the end in a place that's real. You'd be happier in a place where everyone conspires in the self-deception that everything's A-OK and getting better. I can't live in places like that.

“Somebody needs to warn Cao he’ll have nationwide support for his ouster, ASAP.”

If the bribe is a big, fat Swiss bank account, I doubt he will give a rats ass about being ousted.

“At this point, I’m pretty much a definite no,” Cao told The Associated Press on Thursday evening.
