(TPM) CNN: Cao May Vote Yes
TPM ^ | 3-19-10 | TPM

CNN is reporting that Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao (R-LA) is again undecided, even considering voting yes. Cao had previously said he would definitely vote against the bill, despite voting yes in November. President Obama yesterday asked him to take another look at the abortion language in the Senate bill and see if he could vote for it

Maybe O promised to campaign for Cao.

It’s a very heavily D district.

Cao’s seat (includes Nawlins) is almost certain to revert to the Dems either way, once that Party finds a candidate not named “William Jefferson” to run for it, so he probably figures it doesn’t matter anywise. Guy’s a DIABLO, and it’ll show here.

Cao came out yesterday and affirmed a NO. This meeting with Zero, Cao said No after the meeting, came out yesterday.

TPM is either on the crack-pipe, or they’re being intentionally misleading. Cao is on the record last night with his local NO news station confirming that HE WON’T be voting yes, even after Obama asked him to “look at it again”. The story is over at NRO Online, The Corner - dated last night.

Maybe news of the yes flip NO by the WA congressman just posted caused a twinge over at CNN and they had to get a rumor out there fast.

He’s not favored to win his district, anyway...

Which of the hundreds of new Healthcare panels this bill creates did he trade his vote for a job on???

Chicago-style patronage buying is at work now.

according to nj.com, Adler of NJ is a public “NO”, joining DeFazio of Oregon. Cao cannot be the deciding vote on this monstrosity; if he is the sole Republican to favor it, they’ll blame the mess on a “bipartisan” vote.

Maybe she is for the public option and listened to Rush this morning and still thinks the insurance companies purchased the Democrats in order to put there own businesses out of commission later.

Frankly, Rush didn’t sound too convinced of that today. Glossed over it. Maybe he has regrets at energizing Democrat minions on the possibility of that happening. Then he went on about some tax increases. Never the big stuff, who profits the most.

If they’re trying to pick off a Republican, they’re not to condfident that they can get enough Democrats.

As for this schmuck — if the report is true, let him fry with the rest of them. This would be a new level of RINOism ... to the point that calling him a RINO would give other RINOs a bad name.

Kick his ass out of the party before he votes for this. If he wants to vote for it he can do so as an independent, not as a Republican.

I think this story is more ‘Rat faux-mentum.

Congressman Cao is no on federal funding for abortion.

I’ll believe he’s voting yes on Obamacare when I hear it out of his own mouth.
