The fact that some 36 states are working on legislation to protect their citizens from the feds is encouraging.
Those challenge - the challenges on the substance of the bill, not the process - will be fruitful.
For the first time in the history of the Republic, the Federal Government is demanding that a citizen buy something from a private company, of face imprisonment. That's NOT going to pass judicial review with Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Roberts and even Kennedy in the Court. You can take that to the bank.
I have reviewed the entire Whip Count at The Hill and we still have a 50-50 shot of Pelosi having to pull the bill.

I hope that is true, however I have little faith in the American Electorate. They voted for this sap because of a campaign slogan. 45% of the country still think he walks on water. We are so screwed as a nation.

Where are the people of the Red State of Alaska? As I understand it, you only need 8800 registered voters to sign a petition to RECALL Begich from the Senate, who has been a reliable liberal and a “Yes” vote on the bill. He got his senate seat when Stevens was “convicted” (thrown out after the election) by the Justice Department’s shenanigans.
The public option was “snuck” in last weekend. Think I read it on Freepers or Citizen Wells.
