I have to agree. Mostly because I really pray that you are right. But also because IF SHE HAD THE VOTES THEY WOULD HAVE VOTED BY NOW. 72 hour rule, CBO report or no, Pelosi would have waded though a million cubic yards of poop to get to her gavel and call that vote. She cannot risk someone flipping or God dropping a tree limb on someone once she hits the magic number. It makes no sense to me that if she had the numbers now that the vote would be over 48 hours away.

Remember Hands Across America in the 80’s???

Yes, but only after you reminded me. Just keep praying for Divine Intervention.

The socialists have been trying to pass this crap for a year with a super majority in the House and Senate, still failed. Now all of a sudden it's a done deal?

I'm from Missouri.....Show Me.

Heres a theory what if the Present is passing all this leg such as Amnesty, cap and trade, health care as a means to Incite the right into doing something, so they can call martial law and end all the elections coming up? Do I need a tin foil hat?

He said Pelosi was going to go if it was down to 2 or 3, which is what the real number has been all along. It will be close, but it will pass

Well I think her staff is telling her she is within striking distance, “The fake it till you make it” Zig Ziglar axiom. This urgency is all on their end, she HAD to vote this weekend, the sand in the hourglass is running out. Every week the chances dim for it passing. I at this point want it over, rather deal with something I know then something I don’t know.

Judge Andrew Nepolitano said Levin’s suit will not receive a favorable judgement because the Judicial branch does not meddle in Legislative Branch rules of operation

If "deemed passed" by the Slaughter Rule, I wonder if the House Republicans would have a case as sitting Congressmen, empowered by the Constitution to craft and debate and pass legislation, being denied their right to vote on the bill. This isn't just a breach of protocol. It is a direct attack upon the very foundation of law in this country.

Thanks - understood

My thoughts on a lawsuit challenge to “invalidate” the total bill was more along the lines of challenging the actual House “passage” using a “deemed” rule versus and actual Yea or Nay vote... per Constitution

Some seemingly smart folks argue that such a challenge could be successful

It won't come to a vote if Nancy doesn't have the votes. Remember that time Nancy appeared to be losing a vote and she stopped the voting before it was completed so she wouldn't have to live with losing?

She will just continue to delay and jawbone until she has the votes, even if it takes them to August.

This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, it’s worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.

Mail must be inspected for anthrax.

Contact congressional aides.

Remember they are all being offered BRIBES for their votes. Ask them how much their bribe price is.
The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

he doesn’t have to sign the reconciliation...If he signs the senate bill it could stop there and be the law...period.

My question is once Bo has it in hand..can he hold it from going further once he signs it into law....I think that at that point it is what it will be...a done deal.
